Cool to see that Rackenroon has an old Spanish-American War era warship as part of their fleet. Was the Loweza purchased from America or another country when she was due to be stricken from the records and scrapped? Or was she built for Rackenroon by another country on commission?
She was built as a pirate hunter for the Indian Ocean in the early 21st century, and has azipodal steering control. She is 300 feet long and 50 feet wide and only looks antique.
When she was retired from her duties for Kruger Industries' shipping concerns, she was given on loan to Songween, disassembled, crated up, hauled overland to Lake Victorinox, and reassembled.
The ship was put in Fred Kruger's name as a tenth birthday present for him, when he asked for a model of the ship.

"One thousand, six hundred and forty-seven gallons of paint for the exterior hull...per coat..."
(Calculate the area needing paint. For a rough estimate of the area to be painted, multiply the length of your hull (LOA) by the beam and multiply by 0.85 (LOA x B x 0.85 = Area). Then divide the area by the coverage of the paint you've chosen to determine how many quarts per coat you will need, or 2.)

Here is the description of her I wrote some years ago (some points have changed over time):
"The Loweza was commissioned as an anti-pirate escort frigate patrolling the shipping lanes on the east coast of Africa. She was designed to be fast and well-armed with a wide assortment of weaponry, and to look impressive and intimidating.
Her keel was laid down in 1998. She was built by a South African shipyard. She patrolled the commercial sea lanes for over forty years before being decommissioned in 2041 and purchased at scrap value by the Duchess of Rackenroon (via the Krugers); she was taken apart, crated up, and shipped overland to Port Asbestos on Lake Victorinox, where she was reassembled (not entirely to spec) to serve as a patrol boat, ferry, and floating entertainment barge for Her Grace. Her registry was still in the Kruger name; in 2051 ownership was transferred to Frederick Kruger, son and heir of Lucretia Kruger, then ten years old. The ship is in his name today.
The ship was originally designed to operate on two diesel engines, but when rebuilt, was fitted with steam boilers due to the unreliability of a steady supply of diesel fuel in Rackenroon. The ship can run on coal or wood as necessary. Speed is no longer necessary, as the Loweza is the only ship of her size on the lake, and so needs only to be capable of a stately prowl around the perimeter, or a liesurely cross directly from Port Asbestos to Kiyanti when serving as a ferry. She has two screws driving her. She can make 16-18 knots.
The radar array that came with the ship was scrapped as unnecessary, and her gunners were trained in the art of ballistics to be able to call in shots by eye. She does however have radio equipment to be able to contact the shore.
Her primary function is to protect Kiyanti and to train crewmen for the naval ships of the Hyena Brigade. Her secondary function is as a transport ship for people and cargo.
She is 312 feet long and 50 feet wide, with an 18 foot draft. She has two twin 8-inch gun turrets, fore and aft, and 6 5-inch cannons along her sides. She has 14 machine guns along her length, and four racks of anti-personnel Thunderchild rocket launchers on her decks. She has two torpedo tubes. She carries a small steam launch and seven life boats. She has a permanent crew of 15 officers and 260 enlisted, with the ability to carry 400 persons, varying between passengers and cadet trainees. She has several "first class" cabins designated for guests of the Duchess, and two kitchens--one for the crew's mess, and one for making the food for official events. She has been called "an armed cruise ship" due to the elegant ameneties for the guests.
In addition, her interior has been redesigned from its original functional appearance to be more reflective of the status of her putative owner, the Duchess of Rackenroon. Her side cannons have been painted bright black and trimmed with brass, for example. Unfortunately, money that should have gone towards needed repairs to the vessel's structure often got spent on cosmetic improvements."

So, she is somewhat akin to this.

Yes, similar. Most of the rulers of Europe at that time had yachts, which only makes sense, really.
And they had to be big to accommodate the large staff that would travel with the potentate. And well-appointed to impress the foreign dignitaries they entertained.
The Tsar had the Standart. And more recently, the British Royal Family had the Britannia.
