Some facts about the nation

During the 1880s, the Corvun Confederation trived due to it's advancements in improving life. The country was divided into 3 parts.
North: where the Rich lived
Central: heavy urban áreas where half the population lived
South: the economic heartland of the country

Using it's abundance of food, coal and Iron, the corvuns begun to rapedly industrialize, making it the 1 forman nation to have a powerwide electric grid system. All of this would change in 1886

In 1886, the Empire of Cetus invaded Corvus and took Southern Corvus region(remember this bit for later) Due to this, the economy started to rapidly decline and the country soon fell into chaos. The military was sent to deal with the increasing crime and poverty, but they failed to do anything, but instead helped with the increasing crime. Due to most of their food also coming from the south, food prices also became too expensive and a famine nearly occured.

By 1905 the major cities were like ghost tonws. Everyone avoided being outside due to criminal gangs controling city sectors. The corvun goverment decided to use this to their advantage and blammed Cetus for causing their sufering in 1905. Many corvuns, wanting revenge, joined the army, increasing their army size by 4 times its original size in 3 years.

With enought military build up and spy teports showing cetus undermanned army, Corvus invaded in 1908, fueled by revenge by Cetus taking their land, the Southern Corvus War begins

1908

In 1908, corvus slowly advanced in the central regions of Southern Corvus, slowly gaining ground as the local Cetan garisons try to stop their advance with no sucess

1909

In 1909, Cetus went on the offensive along Corvus coastline, pushing deep into corvun homeland. Corvus avoided fithing the cetans due to Cetus powerful navy. However, the Corvuns keep the Imperial Cetan Navy at bay with it large coastal guns. Cetus was able to capture some of them before being pushed back

1910

In 1910 Corvus started to rapidly gain ground due to their advance weapons and Cetus manpower shortages. By mid 1910, Cetus was able to stop their advance. Between mid 1910 to 1911 saw the most ammount of bloodshed in the war. The corvuns soon overan cetan defenses and retok Southern Corvus

1911

Due to their stalemate in 1910, Corvus decided to use a new tactic, deploying chlorine gas onto enemy positions. This caused cetus to sufer heavy loses and stepbacks. When cetus finally developed counter meassures to protect their troops, the war resulted in a stalemate once again. By this point, Corvus was aproching Cetus heartlands as well as their capital.

1912

In February of 1912, Corvus ally, Anteres Imperium, invaded Cetus from the South, using the decrased ammmounts of cetan troops in the north, Corvus broke trough the cetan defenses and captured their capital. While in the south, Antares steamrolled cetan units.

Aftermath
By mid 1912, Cetus collapsed and Corvus keep it Southern lands. After this, Corvus became (willingly) a puppet state of Antares called Sporkii Corvus. Between 1912-1923, anterian troops began to modernize Corvus.

Corvus and Antares have the same similar ideals , government, and beliefs.
