As Bert's scout troop finished their scout meeting most of the kids' parents had picked them up. Bradley, Eggdog, and the Kato/Prower kids in the troop were the last to get picked up.
However they didn't have to wait for long as Merrick and SMG3 soon arrived. SMG3 asked Bert about the upcoming camping trip about any badges Eggdog could possibly earn as he wanted to help.
Merrick using his mind reading abilities seemed to get indication that SMG3 had intentions of not just helping Eggdog with the merit badges.
