What lives to explore next? Well, Dione already has an idea, thinking of the regret she is feeling about not spending much time with her mother. So she wants to experience a life where that goes differently, a life where no argument splits them apart. Of course, it should also be a life where Dione isn't cursed by Pallas, otherwise it'll be cut short again.

"I'M NOT A LITTLE GIRL ANYMORE! I'm a woman! I have my own life!" "And I'm your mother!", Aethra points out, "I gotta make sure that... you don't get hurt. At least have some company when walking around at night in the village or wherever you're going... I'm just... worried about you, you know? You mean so-" "Stop it!", the irrationally angry teenager moth interrupts her mother, "I'm growing up, someday I'll move out of this house, and guess what, there's nothing you can do to stop that! Someday I will leave just like Dad did... You never even told me why he isn't around..." However, while there wasn't anything going differently during this argument up to this point, now in this universe Dione decideds against blaming her mother for the father's absence, catching herself in time before saying something this hurtful. "Dione...", Aethra tries to talk to her daughter more calmly again, "I... I don't want to lose you like how I lost your father... to circumstances outside of my control... You're all I still have..." "Nonsense...", Dione replies, "Why... Why would you even want me around when we keep shouting at each other?..." "I'm your mother. Watching my little girl grow up is hard and... you say some pretty hurtful things but... I can't really blame you for it, you know? Hormones do cause some difficulty during... well, this time. You're my daughter, so I'll love you even throughout the hardest times, okay?" "You really just...", Dione starts to realize now, "You really just try to protect me because you care, huh?..." "More than anything else in the world.", Aethra assures her with a smile, "Too grown up to give mommy a hug or..." Without saying another word, Dione hugs her mother tightly then, feeling remorseful about only really considering her mother's point of view now, after several arguments between them had already happened. But maybe it's not too late to make things better from this point onward.

Dione never moves out of her mother's home in this life, no need to when Coeus lives nearby anyway, and also expectedly spending a lot more time with Aethra in this universe, getting to really appreciate her mother because of it too, with Aethra feeling not just like a mother but ultimately also like a friend to her. Aethra doesn't die by cardiac arrest like in the first life I've shown, making it evident just how much of a difference Dione's relationship with her mother makes to Aethra's own life.

Tethys, Pallas, Charon, Coeus, Dione and Aethra are together in Coeus's home on Planet Hetrocera right now, with Oceanus being right outside since he can't exactly fit in there due to his massive size. "Alright, that's decided then.", Coeus states, "That's the trip we'll go on together." "Oohh it's gonna be fun!", Tethys is already looking forward to it. Aethra then jokingly remarks: "Maybe you should ask Dione's mother first if Dione is allowed to come along too." "Hehe, don't be silly, mom.", Dione responds in an endearing manner, with Pallas admitting: "It's good to see you and your mother getting along so well, Dione. I mean... not many people can say that their own parent is part of their friend group like this. It's... good to see." "I mean...", the female anthro moth says to that, "She is my mother. She knows me well and cares for me. I don't see how that wouldn't make her a good friend too." "I'm jealous.", Coeus jokes, "Anyway, let's get ready to go now."

Everyone in the whole universe can feel Arceus's death. It comes to the fight between the powerful Half Demon Shiny Eevee Lucy and the at this point similarly powerful Cronus. Lucy does eventually manage to catch Cronus off-guard, making her girlfriend's holy sword gigantic in size and psychokinetically ram it right through Cronus's heart, causing the planet-sized enemy to die just a couple of seconds later, his body fading into nothingness, since his species isn't made out of the same normal matter as everything else. Heaven's destruction is therefore also prevented in this universe. Seems like in this alternate universe, Cronus also gets stopped by Lucy... Well, by now I can just tell you that it's in fact in all other universes where Cronus gets stopped by Lucy, only the one I've shown first being the exception, being the one where he doesn't get stopped by her. But why? What's so different about that one version of Cronus that he becomes this exception and therefore not only remains a threat but gets to become even more powerful as a result of not getting stopped?

Because of spending more time bonding with her mother now, at one point while the two girls are at home, Dione decides to finally ask something she has been wondering: "Mom? Why... Why isn't Dad around anymore, actually? I don't think you ever told me. I'm... sorry if my question brings up any bad or sad memories." "No, it's okay.", Aethra responds, "You ought to know. Your father... was a space warrior, fighting for justice and saving lives, mostly by opposing more hostile alien species, whenever they're capable of making a difference, but he... ended up dying on one of his missions... before he could witness you hatching." Hearing that makes Dione remark: "A space warrior... Meanwhile I've only achieved very little myself compared to that.", though Aethra points out to her daughter: "Oh silly, you're a warrior as well. Everyone has their own battles to fight in their lives, some of which may be inherently emotional in nature, so... let me just tell you, assure you, your father would be proud of you either way just for living." Dione smiles, "Thank you, Mom."

Many years later, when Aethra is getting close to death because of old age, Dione is there with her in the hospital so that she won't die alone. It's that hospital on Chronotytonida, since this planet isn't too far away from their home planet Hetrocera and is an exceptionally good hospital. Not knowing when exactly the mother's life will end, only that it will be very soon, Aethra says: "Dione?... I... want to have a goodbye with you while it's still possible." "Mom..." "It's okay.", she assures her daughter, "I'm so happy my little girl stuck with me, even as you got older... but... even if things would have gone differently, even if you wouldn't have cared about me so much, even if you would have left me all alone... I would still always love you and always view you as the wonderful daughter I sees you as." Dione remarks to that: "Heh... I can't be that important and lovable.", though her mother insists: "Dione. To me, you are... my everything... my treasure... my meaning and... well... my life. You matter... so much, Dione. Never forget that. Hehe... Look at yourself... my little girl all grown up... I just gotta say... Thank you for everything." "No, Mom.", Dione replies with a smile, some tears leaving her eyes since this is of course making her feel very emotional, "Thank YOU for everything. You've been a wonderful mother and friend to me... and I love you for that, so much..."
At the funeral of Aethra, Charon is about to approach Dione to comfort her but stops himself when he sees Coeus ending up doing so first. Also at the funeral, Dione brings up to her friend group: "I've... been considering to get into the space warrior occupation... like what my father was doing.", though Coeus tells her: "Get that thought out of your head right away. Dione, do you have any idea how dangerous of a profession that can be? None of us would want to lose you... and there's other ways you can help people for sure." "I gotta at least try, Coeus..." "Please...", he insists, "Don't risk your life when you're still needed here." So then the female anthro moth simply sighs, saying: "Fine..."

Of course, Dione in the library just tries to find a life in which she becomes a space warrior, only to learn that there is no life in which she becomes qualified enough for that. Oh well, that just wasn't meant to be for her no matter what, clearly. As she then continues to explore the library, some random book here too far away for her to witness is fading away into nothingness.
