My favorite warfare gun is the P90.
My favorite hunting weapon is a compound stringed bow with no aiming attachments.
My favorite "would-be" assassin weapon would be a flintlock replica.
I'm not such a big fan of guns.
However, melee weapons I can get behind... oh my.
Impact is so much more satisfying than recoil.

But... I love recoil. D: Oh god, the smell of gunpowder and the kick of a rifle butt into my shoulder... <3
I have no skills what so ever with melee weapons. Give me one and I just flail around. Guns I can actually do something with. (And I do love P90s. If they were not so damn expensive I would own one. At least, the civilian model.)

The way they reload, the dependability of the mechanics, and the fucking style of the weapon, the sound of the shots.
Deffinately not a sit-back and wait gun. It's a "I'm in your motherfucking face dumbfuck, now you're full of bullets"
I spent too much of my childhood idolizing martial arts, and too much of my adulthood practicing with oversized weapons. I'm a large 6' 3" man and I know how to throw weight around and I can take blows and get more excited. While I'm an ok shot, I'd deffinately prefer to get in a close qaurters combat with someone. Though I'd love to get in open qaurter combat with someone too.. Oh man.
Once upon a time I fastened an axe handle to a broken door. I could use said door to block people, shove them off, and have the time to swing at them with it before they'd have recovered from how hard i shove.
