A Nebula dragon from a distant plain, Glorya is Em’s Mother, newly fully recovered and entirely capable! She’s a fully magically constructed being, formed from an ancient civilization long since destroyed and forgotten. She and her many sisters remain, being able to regenerate any form of damage, though anything that would be considered ‘mortal’ (losing a limb, piercing through the scales/body, etc), will ‘pop’ and destabilize them, resulting in them needing to fully reform themselves from the mana expended and the atmosphere. Depending upon the trauma, some memory may be lost as well, but USUALLy the destruction isn’t great enough to cause this to heavily. Forgetting the events leading up to the destabilization is a common occurrence though, which can be unfortunate if the individual themselves doesn’t have anyone to tell them what caused them to ‘pop’ in the first place…This ability also makes it so that her form is pretty much immutable, beyond certain extreme circumstances.
Her main ability beyond regeneration is being able to blow ‘nebula breath’ (little pockets of ‘space phenomena’ that dazzle/charm those hit by it, or cause a fit of coughing if inhaled by a normal being. It can also act as aphrodisiac for other nebula dragons). Also, given the area in which she was ‘born again’, she along with the other nebula dragons have the ‘weakness’ of water being placed upon their body making that part of the body more sensitive. She also has an affinity for magic, being a creation of the stuff, though she hasn’t honed that ability like some others of her kind as it takes away from her ‘being’ to use such spells. Normally not an issue, but as detailed below in her story she’s been a bit ‘spent’ to get a proper handle on it, yet at least.

As a side note (as I’m not sure where else to put this), this is what Em inherited from her mother! And what got ‘altered’ by her father.

Em is capable of ‘destabilizing’ and regenerating like her mother! Though due to being a ‘partially mortal’ being, it costs a LOT of mana and takes her a LOT longer to do, and she has to take a good bit more damage to do it as she still has a ‘mortal frame’. (main example being ‘pain play’ as something Em can do without poofing, but if you go to rip a limb off or pierce an organ she’ll poof). All of her magic is however patterned off of the ‘greenscale’ side of her heritage, turning it from ‘nebula’ to wind and air! When she poofs, instead of becoming a puddle, she basically puffs into a cloud, puffing apart as much as is needed to get out of the situation. Then simply ‘drifting’ to a safe location before reforming again. This also patterns the magic she has an affinity for, working with her dragonic half she is able cast various wind spells, and her dragonic form has a ‘wind breath’ that pushes at speeds equivalent to a hurricane, with similar capability for damage. She can use this new found wind magic to ‘float’ if she gets it just right in her anthro form, but her dragon form is her main way of being ‘queen of the skies’ with her powerful wings. This innate regeneration explains Em’s lack of instinctual worry when her being is threatened, and how she tends to just get more interested the more ‘peril’ she’s in.

Her ‘water weakness’ was given to her two fold. Her sweat as is known makes her more sensitive (it being specifically her sweat though), getting absorbed back into the scales to make them even softer. But she’s also susceptible to heat, getting more aroused and ‘excited’ with rising tempts and getting more sensitive instead of hurt with hot things touching her person, as her air affinity makes her body ‘excited’ just like air molecules and makes her all the more aroused.

This magically conjured form of hers however is a large proponent to how her scales still feel silky smooth to the touch despite also being dragon scales and tough to break through. This also is how she’s able to shift forms! While pure nebula dragons are ‘stuck as is’ most of the time and can only change their forms through drastic shifts in ‘their reality’, Em is able to shift her form between her full dragonic self and her fluffy self due to her being part full dragon! All she has to do mentally to shift forms is shift her mental reality, though her body will always ‘fight’ to get itself back into her normal scaly form. If she thinks she is a dragon, she can shift into a dragon. If she is cold, she can shift to make herself warm. This is also how her bird form ended up working, her believing a drug was turning her into a bird, and so it did! She will always return to her scaly form eventually though, with the more ‘drastic’ the form change dictating how long she can keep it up. Her fluffy form can be kept active all winter for instance due to it not changing too much, but her dragonic form can be kept up continuously for about a week before it becomes really hard to ‘hold’. And the bird form could probably be kept up for a bit longer than that, but as it was brought on by a drug, she has no reason to think about becoming it unless said drug is administered. And as the drug leaves her system, so does her ‘reality’ stop being affected by it, so she becomes a scaly again!

These, along with her full dragonic form, are all the things Em has gained from her heritage!Andddd breath =v= fhehe. All the new lore™ has now been exposited! With a new full ref for Glorya to boot! :D I felt the last image was a pretty good ref for Bruk, but Glorya could use 'a little more attention'. And  DinoGoat just knocked it out of the park ; v ; She looks so friggen good! I love her colors, I love her design. She just looks so pretty and merges 'Em and Nebula Dragon' design just perfectly. I just squee, and I ee, and just aa ; v ; All the Em like wink bleps too! Fheeh, very much appreciate this, and this will be the end of this days post spree! (Will get to what some might see in Ingy's gallery some time later, that deserves so many more words than I can currently provide :3c fheeh).
Also, will probably just keep Glorya and Bruk stuff in Em's folder, cause like, they are 'separate characters', but they aren't going to be used nearly as often as the rest and aren't 'ever present'. Will still see them a decent bit more now though :3c.
