return of the silly sausages (1988) was peak cinema, I hated the reboot

honestly same and i dont even have anything against CGI but i cant pretend that the original sausages didnt look better in all their practical effect glory. plus idk i know we're not watching for the protag and just seeing the chaos unfold but i really liked the dynamic between him and the girl from the original and i thought it was lame how they didnt even acknowledge them. and yes i know legacy sequels or reboots is very standard but at least SOME level of acknowledgement would have been appreciated
