Argent Wyverex Bonding
No one has seen a living Wyverex in centuries. So, when Darion encounters one, he is caught off guard when the gooey dragon chooses him as its host!
This isn't the first time I've written a wyverex story, but I was really unhappy with my previous attempt. So, here's a new story with my new silver wyverex! Just a note: I used 'Darion' as the character in this story, but this version of Darion doesn't have Draythix or Draytex to save him from other symbiotic dragons. ;)

A deafening thud emanating from the direction of Darion’s front door nearly caused him to jump out of his computer chair in surprise. Several other strange noises followed, followed by the ringing of his doorbell.
“What the heck was that?” Darion wondered aloud as he stood up and peeked through his window. He was on a Discord call with a friend, but now he felt he would have to cut it short. “I’ll be back in a minute. Either a drunk is trying to break down my door, or a dragon is trying to invite himself in for dinner.”
“Actually, I think I know what that is,” Nakase said through their Discord call. She was a friend and a fellow fan of dragons that he had known for years. “That’s probably the gift I sent you. I bet you’ll be pretty distracted by it for a while!”
“Wait, what?” The surprise in Darion's voice was apparent. That had not sounded like a proper delivery, but he supposed that Nakase must have gotten a notification message about it if she was so sure. However, her tone of voice made him feel a bit concerned. “You sent me something devious, didn’t you?”
“Oh, it's just something that’ll help you relax,” she explained without changing her mischievous tone. “I happened to stumble upon something related to some of your interests, so I thought I should send you one.”
“Some of my interests? I’m not sure if I should be concerned or excited,” Darion said with some amusement because her vague answer didn’t narrow down the possibilities very much. However, the idea of something that would help him relax appealed to him because he had been having problems with anxiety and tension lately. At this point, he was willing to try anything that might help him calm down. “Seriously though, thanks for the gift. Should I stay on voice while I unbox it?”
“Nope!” Nakase replied strangely quickly. “You can just message me after you’ve had some… snuggle time. Don't struggle with it too much! Bye!”
“Wait, what?” He tried to ask, but Nakase had already disconnected from the call.
“What in the world did she send me?” Darion wondered aloud before getting off the call.
Even though he strongly suspected that Nakase was messing with him, Darion quickly headed to the door to retrieve the package. He initially guessed she had sent him a giant plush or a pool toy to snuggle with, but her other hints confused him. Why would she warn him to not fight her gift?
Opening his door, Darion was surprised to find neither signs of a package nor whatever had made so much noise delivering it. For an awkward moment, he stood in the doorway, looking around and wondering if someone was messing with him before finally noticing a silvery glint coming from his doormat.
Kneeling to take a closer look, he was surprised to find what appeared to be a silver bracelet just sitting there without any packaging. Feeling unsure whether this was what his friend had mailed to him, he picked it up to take a closer look.
To his surprise, the bracelet felt oddly soft and flexible in his hand despite looking like real silver. Giving it a closer look as he stepped back indoors and closed the door behind him, he realized it was a fantastic work of art. Instead of being a simple metal band, the bracelet had the shape of a bat-winged serpent biting its tail. Darion couldn’t believe someone had left something so intricately detailed at his front door without any packaging to protect it.
As he inspected the bracelet, Darion realized its design resembled a wyverex. He only knew of them because they were Nakase’s favorite type of dragon, and she had told him about them several times. They were winged serpents with no arms or legs, which existed in European legends. She had spent countless hours researching the creatures while trying to find evidence that they existed.
“Alright, nice bracelet, but am I missing something obvious?” Darion wondered aloud. Dragons were his favorite mythical creature, and he had been collecting items related to them ever since he was a child. However, a simple dragon bracelet didn’t seem to fit with all of the hints Nakase had given him. “How is this supposed to help me relax… unless it is enchanted?”
Magic was becoming increasingly common, but it wasn’t exactly cheap. If his friend had sent him a magical item, he would have to find a way to repay her. Still, her hints didn’t give him any clues as to how the bracelet worked or what it did. As Darion considered the possibilities, he blushed a bit as he realized the implications of some of the clues he had been provided. She wouldn’t have sent him a bondage trinket as a joke, right?
His thoughts were interrupted when the bracelet unexpectedly slipped free from his fingers. Reflexively trying to catch it, Darion found himself grasping at thin air when it didn’t fall like he expected it to. Instead, the bracelet somehow ended up on his wrist.
“Wha… what the heck!?” Darion cried out in surprise as he reflexively flicked his wrist to dislodge the bracelet. It didn’t budge in the slightest. In fact, the thing seemed tight enough that it should not have been able to fit over his hand in the first place. Worry crept into his mind as he experimentally tried to pry the thing off his wrist. Much to his astonishment, the bracelet seemed to tighten to keep him from slipping even a fingernail underneath it.
After a few moments of fruitless struggle, Darion gave up and stared at the bracelet as he tried to figure out what he was dealing with. The way it had attached itself to his arm meant the thing was either magical or cursed. However, something about how it seemed to be reacting to him seemed odd, and he couldn't shake the feeling that the wyverex bracelet seemed… alive.
His suspicions were abruptly confirmed when the bracelet’s draconic head separated from its tail. Darion could only stare in disbelief as the previously inanimate wyverex began slithering up his arm. Even more strangely, its serpentine body seemed to be lengthening right before his eyes because its tail was still firmly wrapped around his wrist even as the rest of its body began extending to his elbow. How did something like a simple bracelet suddenly come to life and start growing?
<Yes, I think you’ll do nicely.>
“Huh?” Darion glanced around before snapping his gaze back to the creature wrapped around his arm. Did the thing just speak to him in his mind? The voice had been faint, but he was still sure he had heard it. Despite the strangeness of the situation, he began to get excited because he had often wished to meet an intelligent dragon! Perhaps this was what Nakase meant when she said her gift had something to do with his interests? However, he couldn’t help but feel concerned about the wyverex’s words. What was that about him ‘doing nicely’?
Meanwhile, the wyverex had become significantly larger and heavier in the mere moments since it had come to life. The original bracelet had only been a centimeter wide and barely long enough to wrap around his wrist, but the creature climbing up his arm was now an inch thick and nearly two feet long from head to tail. Now that it had grown larger, Darion could also tell that the creature’s body felt strangely soft and rubbery, almost like it was made of putty instead of flesh and blood.
<Don’t worry, I’m not going to hurt you.> The voice from before echoed in Darion’s head again. It was a bit easier to hear than before and had a strangely soothing tone. <We’re perfect for each other, just like she said.>
“Uhhh, did Nakase say that?” Darion asked hesitantly because he still wasn’t quite sure how to handle the unexpected situation he had found himself in. He briefly wondered if his friend sent him this wyverex to be some sort of pet or companion for him before remembering her vague words about relaxation, snuggles, and… not fighting the gift.
A chill went through Darion’s body as he suddenly became quite concerned about the wyverex’s intentions. He attempted to convince the creature to get off of him just to be safe. “Mind if I put you down on the table or something? You’re starting to get heavy.”
<Ahh, don’t worry, soon you won’t have to worry about my weight or anything else for quite a while.> The creature replied with a strange tone that Darion found worrying.
Before Darion could respond, the wyverex suddenly darted into his shirt sleeve with frightening speed. Its wings should have been too large for the tiny opening, but the creature’s body seemed to liquefy so that it could fit right through. The unexpected sensation of the liquid dragon flowing under his clothes made Darion jump in surprise.
“Wa… wait!” He cried out while futilely grasping at the melty serpent’s tail as it disappeared inside his shirt. Then he felt it wrap around his chest before resting its head on his shoulder. Darion couldn’t help but squirm as its strangely pliable coils tightened against his skin.
<Tell me, human, what is your name?> The wyverex’s telepathic voice suddenly asked.
“I'm Darion, but seriously, what are you doing?” As Darion spoke, he removed his shirt since it kept him from seeing whatever the wyverex was doing to him. The creature was getting larger and wrapping around more of his chest with every passing moment. “Nakase told me not to fight you, but you're starting to freak me out!”
After getting his shirt out of the way, Darion was greeted by a strange sight. The creature’s serpentine coils had melded into something resembling a silvery shirt that dripped with the viscous goo. Even more worryingly, it seemed to be slowly spreading down towards his waist.
“That’s it, get off of me!” Darion growled as fear finally overcame his politeness. He grabbed the silvery goo that had encapsulated his chest and began trying to pull it off of him. However, to his horror, every time he pulled at the wyverex’s body, it simply liquified to escape his grasp.
While Darion was fighting with the goo on his chest, his eyes were drawn to the shadow of the wyverex wings hanging off his back. The dragon's bat-like wings seemed to rapidly grow in size as it stretched them outwards before suddenly snapping them closed over Darion’s chest and arms in a single motion reminiscent of a snake latching onto its prey. Gasping as his limbs were pinned by the dragon’s surprising strength, Darion squirmed and struggled to try to free them, but the dragon’s silvery goo merely stretched as he fought against it. The situation quickly worsened when the wings merged with the rest of the wyverex’s body, completely trapping his arms. It was like the wyverex had become a living straitjacket.
<There’s no escape once a wyverex chooses its host, Darion. However, this will benefit both of us, so you should relax and accept me.> The dragon nuzzled the side of Darion’s head affectionately as it smugly spoke.
“Give in to what? What do you want with me?” Darion demanded in a near panic as he struggled to find some way to free himself. However, with his arms restrained, there didn’t seem to be anything he could do but helplessly squirm as the liquidy dragon continued to grow. In a last-ditch effort, Darion tried to push the thing over his head like a shirt, but his last hope was dashed when he felt its tail worm between his legs to anchor itself to his body.
<I’m what you would call a symbiote. I’ll take care of you, protect you, and make you healthier than ever. In return, you’ll be my physical anchor and protect me whenever I rest.>
Darion’s eyes widened, and he turned his head to stare at the creature’s draconic face as he began to realize why Nakase had sent this thing to him. He had read several stories about dragons who bonded with humans to become life-long companions. These stories made such an impression that he often wished he could have such a companion in real life. Nakase must have sent the wyverex to him because he had told him about his dream.
The problem was that this wyverex's symbiosis seemed different from what he had read about. Being forced into the bond was also a problem, so Darion tried to protest against this. “Wait, Don’t I get a choice in this?”
<A choice? You should feel honored to have been chosen by me.> The wyverex sounded indignant and tightened just slightly around Darion’s body as if it wanted to show him who was in charge. <Don’t worry; we always keep our hosts happy, as long as they don’t endanger our queen.>
Before Darion could say anything else, the goo that was enveloping his torso began rippling and squeezing him. It felt like he was receiving both a hug and a massage simultaneously. Despite the bizarre situation, Darion couldn’t help but gasp because of how good it felt. He staggered for a moment as his muscles relaxed despite his desire to keep fighting the creature.
<See? There is nothing to be afraid of.> The wyverex said soothingly. <I am going to take great care of you. All you need to do is relax.>
“But…” Darion tried to object, but the wyverex’s tail had begun wrapping around his legs. The creature would completely immobilize him in only a few moments, and he could do nothing about it. The wyverex began gently squeezing his legs as if it wanted to make him think about just how good it would feel when it had completely engulfed him.
Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Darion managed to get himself to keep speaking. “Please stop this! Surely someone else would be a better host for you?”
<The queen’s host specifically requested that I bond with you. The choice has already been made.>
“Queen’s host… oh no…” As he realized the implications of the creature’s words, Darion panicked. There was a chance that the wyverex queen had manipulated Nakase into sending this thing to him! After all, if wyverexes were some sort of symbiotes, what effect did they have on their hosts?
The silver wyverex responded to Darion's agitation by squeezing his body tighter. The additional pressure wasn't painful, but it was clear that the serpentine dragon was letting him know that it wouldn’t let him get away. Darion’s pinned-together legs made it difficult to keep standing, let alone walk. Gazing downwards, he was shocked to see belly scales spreading down the silvery goo on his chest. He almost looked like a human head stuck on top of a snake’s body, except the wyverex’s actual neck and newly reformed wings were hovering behind him.
<Your friend willingly accepted the queen and became her host. You'll also choose to become my host of your own free will.>
“You haven't even told me what being your host will do to me!” Darion said as he squirmed within the Wyverex's body. “I'm not going to give in to this!”
A deep chuckle emanated from the wyverex's fanged maw. <It would take too long to explain how our partnership will work, so I will simply let you experience what I can offer you. You’ll change your mind soon enough.>
Suddenly, Darion felt himself falling over as the silvery goo pushed him backward. With his arms and legs bound up by the wyverex, all he could do was brace himself for an impact with the floor. However, instead of falling, he was carefully lowered to the floor by the wyverex’s surprisingly strong coils. Darion had been so busy trying to free himself that he hadn't noticed that the creature had kept growing after swallowing his legs. Its serpentine body looked almost three meters long now, and he couldn't help but wonder how such a massive creature had come from such a tiny bracelet.
When Darion found himself lying on the floor with his body stuck inside the wyverex, he couldn’t help but feel like he was stuck in a serpent-themed sleep sack. His head, propped up by the creature’s chest, was the only part of his body that hadn’t been swallowed by the silvery goo yet. He felt like he should have been shivering in fear at this point, but a strange calmness had swept over him. Why did being held by the wyverex like this feel so… nice?
His thoughts were interrupted when the wyverex's goo began squeezing and kneading his body. Darion gasped in surprise and squirmed as the unexpected stimulation overwhelmed his senses. “Wha… what are you doing?!”
<Tending to you. It feels nice, doesn’t it?> The wyverex smugly replied without stopping its ministrations. <Your body is wracked with pain and tension, and I simply can’t allow my host to live like this. Just relax and let me take care of you.>
Darion tried to protest but yelped instead when his head suddenly sunk into the wyverex's chest. Silvery goo enveloped his entire face, plunging him into darkness. For a brief moment, he feared that he would suffocate but found that his captor was supplying his nose with air. He spent a moment struggling against his gooey prison, but it quickly became apparent that he was utterly helpless. What chance did he have now, when he couldn’t overpower the creature when it had been a fraction of its current size?
Meanwhile, the wyverex’s intense massages spread over its victim’s entire body. It caressed his neck, kneaded his muscles, and gently squeezed him repeatedly. It was like wearing an undulating, skin-tight suit while submerged in a swimming pool.
The sensations from the all-encompassing goo felt disconcerting at first, but within a few moments, Darions grunts of resistance began getting replaced with surprised gasps. Whatever the wyverex was doing to him, it felt good. Incredibly good. It was as if the thing knew more about how to tend to a human’s body than the most skilled massage therapist.
<See, isn’t it better to just give in and let me take care of you?> The wyverex’s voice was calm and gentle, either because it wanted to soothe Darion or because it was sure that it wouldn’t fail to convince him now.
Weakly shaking his head in defiance, Darion told himself he couldn’t let himself give in to the wyverex this easily. It was trying to manipulate him! He couldn’t let himself trust the thing.
However, Darion could only feel the wyverex’s rubbing and stroking in his tight and dark prison. There wasn’t any way for him to distract himself from the intense massage, and his resistance quickly began to break down. He could also feel himself becoming more relaxed with every passing moment. When was the last time he had felt this good?
<You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?> The sly serpent whispered into Darion’s mind. <Just think, I can tend to you every day from now on. All you need to do is accept me and let me become a part of you.>
The goo around Daron’s face began probing his mouth, making it clear that it intended to invade his body if he gave in. Darion quickly clenched his jaw out of fear. What would happen if he let the wyverex inside his body? However, he knew the creature could easily force itself upon him if it wanted to. The fact that it gave him a choice made Darion wonder if the wyverex wasn’t as evil as he had initially assumed. Then again, it didn’t seem like it intended to let him go even if he refused, so maybe it was just a trick.
As the creature’s continual squeezes and massages intensified, it became increasingly difficult to think. Soon, Darion began imagining how nice it would be to give in and let the silvery dragon take care of him. After all, he had wished for a dragon companion ever since he was a child, but would a typical dragon be able to make its human partner feel so good? Maybe this was even better than what he had been wishing for.
Time seemed to lose all meaning within the dark confines of the Wyverex, making it even more difficult for Darion to keep up his resistance. It was hard to tell if it took minutes or hours, but eventually, it became difficult for him to even squirm to put up some token resistance. His muscles seemed to refuse to obey him as if they craved whatever the wyverex was doing to him. Even though his mind hadn’t quite given in, his body already had.
<It seems that even if your conscious mind tries to resist this, your body knows what it wants. I sense that you crave the thought of something greater than you taking over and protecting you.>
Ordinarily, Darion would have denied his captor’s revelation. However, the wyverex’s words struck home now that he was aware of his unconscious craving for its embrace. Tears formed in Darion’s eyes as he thought about how he had to be constantly on guard and in control because it felt like a single misstep could cause his job and life to fall apart. Maybe he had always wanted a dragon companion so that it could shelter him from his worries?
The last vestiges of Daron’s resistance finally broke, and he completely relaxed within the wyverex’s embrace. Since he couldn’t speak while encased in the symbiote’s gooey body, he hoped his thoughts would reach it since it was telepathic. It felt strangely good to finally give in to the creature, and he let out a muffled sigh as he found himself enjoying its embrace even more than before.
The silvery wyverex gently squeezed Darion’s body when it sensed that he had given in. <Good, now we can finally form our bond.>
Gooey tendrils began gently worming their way into Darion’s mouth. To his surprise, the wyverex tasted sweet, and he found himself eagerly swallowing the living goo. However, It soon became apparent that he wasn’t the one in control of the situation as more and more of the wyverex’s viscous body pushed its way inside him. It began to feel like he was being forced to drink from a hose.
The symbiotic goo quickly spread throughout Darion’s insides, and he couldn’t help but squirm as alien sensations began flitting through his senses. He became vaguely aware of his captor, no, his partner’s massive serpentine body that had grown large enough to take up most of his living room. Was this connection part of the bond it had been talking about?
<Now we will never be separated ever again. It is time for you to rest…>
Strange, peaceful sensations suddenly flowed through Darion’s body and mind. As his consciousness faded, he was vaguely aware that the wyverex had begun moving, and his helpless body was being carried off within it.
________________
When Darion slowly began to wake up the following day, the first thing he noticed was just how good he felt. He couldn't feel any of the aches and pains that often plagued him, and his body felt completely relaxed. When was the last time he had slept this well?
However, his calmness was quickly replaced with confusion and panic when he realized that he was tightly wrapped in a strangely soft but unyielding substance instead of his usual bedsheets and that he couldn't move. Finally remembering his encounter with the silver wyverex and realizing it hadn't been a dream, Darion gasped for breath and squirmed in his draconic prison. Even though he had accepted his fate as the wyverex's host, waking up inside the creature was quite disconcerting!
<Ahhh, I was wondering when you would finally wake up.> The wyverex’s telepathic voice flowed into Darion’s mind, along with sensations of satisfaction and contentment. <I could tell that you haven’t been taking care of yourself, Darion, so I ensured you stayed asleep until your body was fully healed.>
When Darion heard the symbiotic dragon speaking, a mixture of conflicting emotions coursed through his mind. Part of him was happy that the creature was taking care of him like it said it would, but a part was starting to worry that it intended to keep him trapped within its body. No matter how good the wyverex’s embrace felt, he would surely go insane if he stayed inside it forever!
The wyverex immediately responded to Darion’s anxiety by resuming its squeezes and massages from the day before, making him helplessly groan and squirm as it manipulated him. <Now now… I’m not going to let you out until you calm down. We’re bonded now, so be a good host.> Its firm voice made it clear that the wyverex expected Darion to obey it.
A part of Darion still wanted to resist the domineering creature, but what choice did he have? He was utterly helpless against it and had already let it bond with him anyway. Besides, it didn’t seem like it had harmed him, and resting within its body felt bizarrely good. After organizing his thoughts, he began calming himself down by taking deep breaths using the air supply the wyverex had connected to his nose.
Not long after Darion calmed down, he felt his body begin floating toward the surface of the wyverex’s body. The silvery goo flowed away from Darion’s face, allowing him to breathe through his mouth for the first time in hours. After he took a few deep breaths of air, Darion looked around and saw that the wyverex's serpentine coils were laid out on the floor of his bedroom. It had freed his head, shoulders, and arms from its gooey embrace, but the rest of his body was still stuck inside the silvery dragon.
“Ummm, could you let the rest of me out?” Darion hesitantly asked after turning his head at the wyverex’s draconic face.
The creature shook its head while giving him a toothy smile. <Not until you understand what being a wyverex host means.>
“Right…” Darion sighed and squirmed a bit. Being trapped inside the wyverex was one thing, but seeing half of his body sunken into the shapeshifting dragon was incredibly strange. After a moment, he spoke again as a question came to mind. “Do you have a name? I assume I shouldn’t just be calling you ‘Wyverex.’”
<The queen named me Argent.> The wyverex seemed pleased that Darion had finally asked and rewarded its host with an affectionate squeeze. The unexpected act made Darion yelp in surprise.
“Uh, Argent means ‘silver’ or something, right?” Darion replied after regaining his composure. “Alright, Argent, could you tell me what you’ve done to me?”
<We’re bonded. Part of my body is inside of you now, so I am a part of you, and you are a part of me. We must always stay together now, or the consequences will be… unpleasant for both of us.>
Darion’s eyes widened as he considered the implications of Argent’s words. “Wait, we always have to be in physical contact?”
<Is that so bad? I know that you enjoyed resting within me last night, and I intend to keep taking care of you from now on.>
Remembering the intense combination of massages and sensory deprivation made Darion shiver, and he couldn’t help but look forward to experiencing it again. “I… really did enjoy that, but I can’t exactly go around outside with you! People will freak out.”
<The queen also ordered me to stay hidden.> Argent replied, though he sounded disappointed by this restriction. <I can conceal myself the same way that I did yesterday. Allow me to demonstrate.>
Before Darion could say anything, Argent wrapped a silver tendril around its host’s left wrist and suddenly began shrinking. Its body flowed around Darion’s wrist with incredible speed, as if it was being sucked in by a vacuum. After a few moments, he found himself lying naked on his bedroom floor with a familiar silvery bracelet firmly affixed to his arm.
“Holy…” Darion exclaimed as he stood up and stared at the bracelet. It was hard to believe that a creature large enough to fill a room could shrink to such a small size.
<I am going to rest for now.> Argent's voice was fainter now that it was in bracelet form. <You will have other duties as my host, but the main one is that you must keep me safe and hidden from unbonded humans. Do that, and I’ll ensure you are well taken care of.>
Darion bit his lip as he briefly considered his options. He could do as Argent demanded and then be subject to the dragon’s affections again tonight. Or he could try to find help. The thing is, who would even believe him? Plus, he could only imagine what Argent would do to him if he made it angry.
Of course, even though this had been forced upon him, the truth was that Argent was fulfilling some of Darion’s deepest desires. The wyverex was a companion who was willing to protect him. Plus, a single night of the wyverex’s care had not just felt good; it had also helped him with both his physical and emotional pain. Was there really any reason for him to try to fight this thing?
After a few moments, Darion finally nodded in agreement. “Alright, I won’t tell anyone about you, though I’m assuming that my friend Nakase is an exception to that since she’s already a host. Can I just request that you give me a little more choice about being bound up inside of you in the future?”
<Now, what would be the fun in that?> Argent unexpectedly teased.
“Oh no…” Darion groaned. It just so happened that the shapeshifting dragon that wanted to be the dominant one in their relationship had a mischievous streak. He was going to have to talk to Nakase about this…

<Yes, I think you’ll do nicely.>
