who has always been a delight to work with and is a long time client since I first started taking commissions ♥
STORY TIME!
So when I was in middle school I used to be obsessed with drawing Final Fantasy characters/creatures/monsters and I used to use a game guidebook as reference. (Final Fantasy VIII is what it was)
Younger me would find it absolutely mindblowing that 2 decades later I would be paid to draw Final Fantasy fanart.
She would also probably cry at my skill level now.
Despite having never personally played FF9 myself that I can recall (if I have it was likely only once and not very much compared to FF8) this was such a nostalgic piece for me to work on given how I used to spend my free time lol
Zachary Sutton watched me work on this and decided to get FF9 to play when it was on sale on the Nintendo store.
I also bamboozled myself with how much my art has drastically improved over the years and I hope I get to do more fanart comms in the future. (any fanart not just Final Fantasy lol)
Speaking of the Final Fantasy franchise...Crisis Core is probably my fave one I've ever played!

Ahhh thank you so much! I had so much fun with this piece and I'm so glad I did the character justice! My partner has been playing FFIX ever since I made this.
I know they've got the Crisis Core Reunion on the switch now but for nostalgia sake I'd love to get my hands on an OG copy and a PSP again!
That game saved my sanity during a hurricane one year lol We lost power for a hot minute so during the day I would draw in my sketchbook and then at night I would play on the game. Neighbor's had a generator so I was able to charge it during the daytime whenever I was hanging out with their kids. ^^
ah i feel ya...also....when i said overdone the missions a little.....lets just say i may have already have the 'Energy' Materia coupled with the accessory that allows me to twin cast and i just got to the point where Zack is already aged up after the Angeal stuff. (that was also right after he first met Cloud)
