Some years ago, a teenage Katie did something that most would consider "a wee bit foolish" ...in this particular case, that meant attempting to summon, communicate, or otherwise interact with a very old, very hostile entity from somewhere beyond the physical plane of existence. Given the difference between their two worlds, the entity opted not to kill the poor fox, but not because it had any concern with her survival; rather, it needed a living host, a foothold, in order to invade another dimension, so without a even a word the entity tried to latch onto hapless Katie and possess her. However, one difference between the immensely powerful and the truly Almighty is that the latter does not make mistakes, and despite how this eldritch nightmare would describe itself, it was was merely the former. The attempted takeover happened so fast that the exact sequence of events was lost on the terrified fox, but whether the entity overestimated the capacity of the portal, or Katie had enough foresight to implement a failsafe, or (more likely) that some innocuous stroke of dumb luck just so happened to disrupt the ritual; the transfer was abruptly aborted almost as soon as it began, severing a tiny part of the entity which remained bonded to (the now unconscious) Katie. However, while this scrap was far too small to exert any sort of control or even influence over her, the piece (which basically amounted to a god's toenail clipping) got absorbed and, in addition to making her grow a few additional tails, was enough to grant Katie strange powers, such as levitation, telekinesis, and teleportation... luckily, she's not overly selfish with her abilities and has since become something of a local superheroine, using her powers mostly for the greater good!

This is a re-redesign of Katie! (the same Katie who is often seen in the company of Britt) Redesigning characters can be difficult, especially when said characters were initially "heavily inspired" by another IP or source material, but I'm really happy with Katie's and Britt's new looks!
Also, since her "outfit" is sort of living and fused to her, she's unable to take it off. But she can change the shape/style (but not the materials) possibly making it look like casual clothes, a dress, a swimsuit or whatever-else-have-you as the situation requires.
