Massive Assault Canine Recon Operative , otherwise known as Project M.A.C.R.O is a secret government operation designed to send out an augmented giant-sized operative to neutralize military threats from other nations.
Each operative begins their mission with recon duty. They start off carefully inserted into enemy territory, having to blend in with the locals as they gather valuable military intel and base locations for their respective nation. Upon confirmation from HQ, they grow in size and power in proportion to the scope of the mission in order to take out confirmed key military targets and cities.
Each Operative is kitted out with state of the art Assault Gear and Augments, nations often spending upwards of hundreds of million dollars on just an individual. Generally consisting of a Carbon Nano-Fiber woven vest, form-fitting Combat Military grade pants and boots resistant to ballistics, a plasma based weapon of the operative's choice to more easily slice through enemy installations and lastly a visor with an in built targeting system which detects the heat and electromagnetic signatures of all key objectives in a given vicinity, which can discharge an energy beam for offensive capabilities. All of which is uniquely designed to grow to scale with the individual operative.
Designed as a nation's ultimate weapon, sometimes the individual operative finds the Assault gear worn to be too cumbersome and awkward to move around in out in the field. Instead preferring to wear lighter alternatives, seeing as though most current military resistance tend to pose little threat to them.
Anti - M.A.C.R.O weapons and armaments are being developed to counter these threats, but currently are still only in the testing phase.
