My previous fursona, Shuraim the tri-coloured wolf-alsatian, has gained so much of a life in the past few years that I can hardly act behind his face without breaking up his character. I don't mind it, he's one of my more well fleshed-out creations ever and. However, it was about time I made my own face.

The goal is to design a personal furry persona, one that was perhaps more reflective of my current inner enviroment and personal influences, which had changed quite some bit since Shuraim was created. This is but some rough first sketches for the character, who is as yet unnamed (he would probably take on the NightPhaser handle).

On to some points:
I've found that my major mood-modes are "coloured" blue and red, with the kinds of things you'd "feel" out of those colours, e.g blue being calm and reflective, the red being fervent and impulsive. Aside from the colour influences, I've also found myself "fracturing" between the raw sensuality of the furry world and the grounded/practical life I have outside it.

Theories on deterministic chaos have influenced me muchly, hence, where these colours meet they form the borders of fractals. I'm also studying Math in university.

I don't smoke, but I feel that my inner self would smoke (and wear a coat, and be all Noir and shit). The cigs are home-made, and use natural materials. Some sort of mind-expanding drug plant may be involved, alluding to my history of shamanism. It is also a subtle allusion to the Oracle of Delphi.
