Wow legitimately didn’t expect this tonight but this is really well executed! Especially with how the neck stretches and how the beak forms out of the lips and teeth, also I really like with animal tfs when the tf is capped off by the eyes changing for some reason. Chocobos are consistently a favorite of mine, given how big they are while still being cuddly looking. As always, immaculate work!
Thank you! The teeth/beak has been one I've been curious about for a while, it was mostly just figuring out how to do it without going too horror (not that that's bad, just not my preference haha). It kind of makes me think of the Animorphs when they're waiting for the instincts to kick in, I always got the same vibes with the eye change.
Yeah, I think it's a good sign of going feral. Side note though, I actually do like animal tf more where the instincts don't kick in immediately but are kinda gained over time from being the animal. Like an example would be tfing into a mouse and gradually gaining the skittish instincts from the looming threat of predators until it becomes reflexive
I totally agree with eyes being a large indicator of a significant change. Color, shape, iris, any of them would show that window of the soul being modified. To embrace these instincts, resist, or a blend of the two has always been depicted well in Animorphs. It certainly shows here.
