I have a similar character, in a planned Halo fan series called Halo Online. Basically, Sword Art Online, but Halo. The party I have in mind currently consists of 5 Spartan Players, and 1 ODST NPC. His name is John Doe, and the party adopted him after he discovered he was an NPC. When with one of the party members, Bertha, John tried to blow his brains out shortly after his existential crisis began, but Bertha immediately knocked his battle rifle from his grasped and talked some sense into the poor Helljumper. She helped him realize that he does matter. John even decided to remove his helmet to see if he had a face, and he did, bolstering his self-esteem and sense of worth even more. Bertha invited him to join their squad since despite the player limit for squads being 5, the allied npc limit was 2, and they were in need of a way to grow the fireteam, and he accepted. He's still haunted by his new reality though, and I think if John and Gummigoo met, they'd be fast friends and could share their stories of existential dilemma. And hug. And go to a cyberspace bar to drink away their sorrows together.

BTW, I just thought of a second NPC to complete the fireteam! So there's these pilots with Spartan-like helmets in certain places in the Halo series, I was thinking I should include one of 'em. Her name is Dasha Chekov, and yes, she's programmed with a Russian background if you somehow couldn't tell. In any case I have the team, their full names, their weapons, their armor cores (for the player characters), what type of soldier each npc is, and their genders, right here:

Well, you have a good imagination. I have hardly any knowledge of Halo, I never played it. But you have a good base and a lot of information. I encourage you to write a story or I think even with a little effort, you could almost make a board game out of it! So many possibilities!

Board game?! A little specific. However, if we're talkin' and RPG, it would probably be a tabletop.

In fact, this summer I'm going to make one. Well I'm going to make the designs of the cards and characters and monsters or that's my intention. For my final degree work, I want to present the board game or tabletop. Next month I will give more information here and in my networks!

I still have to draw it. It will be my final project for the Design course next year! In the meantime this summer I will be drawing the character cards and game elements.

And I just realized that since she's female, her name wouldn't be Dasha Chekov, it'd be Dasha Chekova.

Ya know... the more I see people say Gummigoo is dead. The more I wanna yell that he is a *In universe* fictional character. A (remarkably immersive) AI. And in terms of 'multiple adventures' that means that eventually ideas get reused. NPCs get reused. AI get reused.

The only way he is 'dead' is if he gets refreshed to a point where he was just like who he was before the whole clipping under the map adventure he had. And we... well. Don't know just how many times Caine DOES reuse NPCs or how much stuff he does to create each adventure. We got a chance that is greater than zero that we see Gummigoo again... I just wish people would wait for more episodes to get all mopy about the thought of never seeing him again.

Well, according to the wiki Gummigoo has been returned to his original world. Hopefully he has broken the code and will be left with his memories intact as in the movie Free Guy. I grew fond of the character and they just made him disappear without giving him a chance in the circus, but I'm sure we'll see him. Maybe not this season, but in the future. Anyway I think I'll draw him again, he's fun to draw!

I'm always a little skeptical of what wiki says. Don't know who could be editing things on there (one wiki page was suddenly translated to spanish as a troll apparently.) but I do hope the same.

... I also can't wait to see you draw him again.
