Thanks! I'm still thinking about the color scheme...probably lots of dull greens and browns, with that patch of sky being the only source of brilliant color.

This is so beautiful...and so symbolic, too! (And it's not even done yet!) My absolute favorite pieces of art, and the ones I remember the best, are the ones that tell a story or are symbolic in some way.

I can really empathize with this piece based on a few things going on with me recently and, I guess, just who (or what) I am.

I also can see this piece working on a few different levels. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished watercolor... I'm guessing even in person at AC?

Oh wow, that looks amazingly beautiful! Poor little birdy is trapped in all those... vines though? That's kinda sad. But, it looks amazing as just a pencil sketch really. Keep this one up when you update it!
