Basic reference sheet of my feral Mr. Wolf concept.
On this sheet you also get a small glimpse on how Mr. Wolf's father looks like.
Atm I didn´t have any flashbacks planned for a comic strip but I sure will in the future because this could be an interesting story.
In the movie, Mr. Wolf appears to be a rather slender and slim character. He is semi big with nearly 6'2 feet tall, he has an average size of a western male human which is about 180-185cm in size. I see a lot of especially younger males these days who are 190cm and taller, however, since Mr. Wolf is not the biggest of his kind, I imagined him being rather thin and not as strong as his father and former family members.
This could possibly lead to different disputes between his father and himself and maybe other family members that there were in the pack he grew up.
Different from the movie, I have added a few more visible scars to his body to show a bit more of a struggle he already had in life, despite his young age.
I also give him some extra fluff to the spot between his shoulder bones, just like normal wolves also have in real life.
Different from the movie, I also decided to give all characters a more realistical teeth design.
The movie shows especially Diane's and Wolf's teeth like human jaws with slightly longer canines, but a canine jaw should have many more jigsaw shaped single teeth lined up with pointy canines. I always imagined anthro Mr. Wolf as a hybrid who has human traits along with animal (wolf) traits, so it is normal that his body features both but in my feral concet, Wolf is just a feral wolf, nothing human about him, so his style and design appears to be more canine realistic than anthro or cartoony with human features.
