As a little extension of this, where do you typically connect the draconic wings? I've seen and mostly do the base of the tail. Another thing is what props up that final tip below the elbow, is it some kind of pseudofinger that extends till that point?

On anthros I usually do it a bit higher to allow for clothing / movement. It gets a lil difficult otherwise. And hmm, nothing except vibes I suppose- I just think it looks better that shape xD

That's fair! I end up using Flight Rising sprites a lot for references since the drawings are so good and they have a lot of different interpretations between different species

hehe it's funny you say that, cause when I first started drawing I used NeonDragon's dragon art books for the same reason! (NeonDragon is FR's creator/lead artist) They do great work!

Dunno if they still do ALL the stuff for FR, but I remember when they were posting dragon concepts on tumblr (I think?) lol.
