Jay is a border collie hailing from Texas. He has plenty of skills with hand to hand combat, as well as experience with firearms. His loadout is a rapier, and a pair of magic gauntlets that let him summon a pair of handguns, a sniper rifle, and bombs. Early on in the story, Jay is bitten and gravely injured by a werewolf, and succumbs to lycanthropy himself. Later in the story, he gets a blessing fromthe phoenix, Valerie, the daughter of Fergus, a man known for converting werewolves into lycans. Jay himself becomes a lycan, which allows him to have complete control over his transformations, without the influence of lunar events, and convert his curse into a powerful force of good. Jay is a natural born optimist, and usually isn’t afraid to stare danger in the face. Jay’s main partner is Olly, a vixen mage from Pennsylvania. Together, the two are the last line of defense in the fight against Malus.
