Here we have Jack once again in his demon form teaching Zoey, whom is in her Superhero persona "Inferna", how to fight properly and wield her powers.

Suffice to say, it's a rocky start!

Story time

Zoey had been excited for today, she understood it would be hard, she'd learned how to muster up her powers, but to master them had been difficult, and today she would try and use her powers in a fight. Jack would teach and fight her at the same time, really, who better to teach her than an ancient demon lord general guy? She just didn't realise how hard it would be, or how strict a teacher her boyfriend could be.

She quickly learned as she skidded across the baron rocky desert ground. Her costume protecting her for the most part. But she was sure she was going to bruise later.

"ENOUGH!" The ground seemed to shake under her as she pushed herself to he feet. She turned seeing a large 9+ foot tall demon marching towards her, he was unhappy.

"Sorry." She whimpered as he stopped infront of her.

"Zoey!" The demon's voice rumbled darkly, he paused a moment before speaking again. "Zoey you failed to defend yourself again, I was rather blatant with what I was doing. You should have been able to stop me or better yet counter me. At the very least you should have slowed your fall with your fire!"

"I'm sorry Jack. I really am." She rubbed her left arm awkwardly as she gazed off to the ground. "I didn't think."

The large demon crossed his arms. "Perhaps I was overzealous in giving you these abilities. You lack the discipline to wield them. Maybe I should just take them away."

Zoey's eyes snapped to him, wide under her mask. "No! Please! Please Jack, I promise I'll do better!" she cried out in panic, tears starting to form in her eyes.

Jack narrowed his dark eyes, glaring lightly at her. "Then you must prove me wrong, if you are go through with this, the enemies you will gain will not be merciful on you, they will break you, they will try and kill you."

Zoey looked to her hands then up to her teacher, fire erupted from her hands as they pointed to the floor, lifting her from her feet and up to the demon's eyes level.

"If you don't give up on me, I won't let you down." She frowned.

The demon stared her down for a moment before giving her a slight nod of his head. "Then get ready we'll go again and I expect better."

"You got it." She promised, determined to prove she was capable of doing this that she could be a Superhero! She flew herself backwards with her powers and got back into position. Her body ached, but she had to push through it, Jack was right, she wouldn't get resting opportunities from bad guys. She had to use this time wisely, she had to focus.

With a mighty cry fire erupted from her hands and feet propelling her high into the air, the demon lord unfurled his wings and took flight after her, she flew up till the sun was behind her the propelled herself towards the demon as fire erupted around her fist.
