The synthian empire is said to be governed by Emperor Luni, though in reality he's just a figurehead, his advisors and governors do the real work.

The Synthian empire is pretty good when compared to the Omarasa, yet they are aloof to the things the Omarasa does, and does not intervene, or even help with their victims until eventually Izzi (the chosen daughter of synthia herself) ends up Convincing the inexperienced and airheaded Emperor of the Synthians that he should take the reigns of his empire and do something by sharing the horrors she's seen and heard of, much do the displeasure of his underlings.
The Synthians live on flat disc-shaped synthetic planets with artificial atmosphere bubbles, their buildings are shiny white metallic spires that stab into the skies.
