Here's a reference sheet of a character I drew a while back. This is the first time I've done one of these.

Shades here is more of a light-hearted version of your typical film noir detective (I'll admit I don't know a lot about the genre, but hey, it'll be a blast!).

I managed to get this done before he had to rush off for an important phone call. I think I heard him mutter something about stolen chocolate cake....

Hmm... the plot thickens!

All in all, I'm pleased with how it turned out.
