Small Misunderstanding

Pínpin doesn't quite understand magic.
Don't get me wrong, he gets the basic gist of it. He knows magic can create stuff out of thin air, or force you to do things... maybe make you fly, something like that. He just gets lost whenever someone tries to explain the details to him. He also knows not everyone can just do magic, you need to be some kind of special magic person.
Like that wizard type looking guy that hired him. He clearly knew how to do magic. He also almost lost an eye after saying Pínpin was "smaller than he thought". So they weren't all that big a deal.
After apologizing profusely (the sword next to his head invited him to do so) he gave Pínpin his next hit, which was way too simple for a professional kind-of-assassin as him: go to the target's keep, cause some general chaos, and leave. He's done it a million times, easy, right?
Well, nothing is easy with these magical a-holes. Of course the magician tells Pínpin to "use his portal" because "that will help him with his issue", as if infiltrating a singular keep was an issue for a small -sorry- a normal-sized mousefolk like him.
So he gets whooshed away into the place, removing the fun part out of the mission, and he just gets to stab and spook people... right?
Also no! That party-trick-doer somehow failed on his portal and sent him to the middle of nowhere. Not even near the keep! Good thing Pínpin knew that was going to fail and he brought his own map.
A faulty map, that is. He was sure he was supposed to be near the keep already, but he couldn't see it anywhere! How could anyone miss such a large structure? Whoever made this map should go out and actually check this stuff before selling it.
This was all that sorcerer's fault! Once he managed to complete this mission he was gonna make him pay for this.
At least something is still clear: Pínpin doesn't quite understand magic.
