Okay so I have started to put real effort in the story I sort of started with the few pages of my comic "the summoning". The pages I made had no script, no real idea of what was going on and therefore could only result in a train wreck. They were also very sketchy and the last one made very hastily so... yeah...

So to avoid this and make the story coherent and - I hope - interesting, I put myself to work and started to write a decent script and add a real backstory to this universe.

And this is one of the concept I came with for the story : Mages and Magii (plural of magus). Although it's basically a word and his latin origin(?) these two terms have two totally different meanings. This is just a first draft so bear with me as I may have to change some things.

The mage is your average magic user. Every category of magician you can know fall under this designation : warlock, wizards etc...

A magus is a magic user who overstepped the boundary between user and magical being. Impregnating themselves with raw magika causing them to gain access to a new perception of reality which often affect their perception and personnality. It is easy to spot a magus as the sheer amount of energy they keep inside them is trying to escape as their body is not able to contain so much power.

Magii are purchased by their former peers as they are now abomination created by their lust of power and as their behaviour can be quite inpredictable as they now perceive a reality different from ours.
