Darius has shown himself to be mellowing out somewhat in more recent portrayals, I imagine perhaps with 71 managing to have gotten through to him. Still I suppose he's probably used to people trying to talk him out of killing, maybe a little surprised that a small iguana is also rather bloodthirsty.
