Just a brief story of aquila history, lore, and it's role in the Centauran War (updated to add weapons)

History

The Kingdom of Aquila is a large democratic kingdom located in South Centaura. Being one of the oldest modern countries, the nation prospered with its old expansionism up to the 1700s. Between 1700s up to 1912, the kingdom only defended rathern that attacking, proving to be an effective strategy agasint it's neiboring countries attempt to invade them. During the 1880s a revolution occured in which the King stepped donw from power, creating a democratic Kingdom. Seeing it as Aquila getting weaker, Antares invaded in 1887, only to be defeted with easy by the Aquilans. This gave aquila the nickname *Iron Army* due to their determination of defeding their land till the bitter end, no matter the cost, as well as their army only being volunteers (only nation in centaura to not have conscription) In 1890, Aquila started building vast ammount of forts, bunkers and trenches to defend from an invasión, whoch came in 1912.

Population
Population is not well know, around 5 to 7 major cities (all located in North and central regions) with the capital being Volucris

Economy
Due to huge ammmounts of forest Aquila had, it became the main economic activity of the nation, being world biggest wood producer

Aquilan Campaign

1912
In mid 1912 (right after the fall of Cetus) Aquila long term rival (Antares) invaded aquila from 6 different directions. Aquila was well prepared (mostly) and had the Ring of Fire protecting the heartlands of Aquila. This keep Antares at bay, but a Major flaw was noticed, the lack of Anti Air made it easy for Antares to bomb the forts. In november of 1912, the Ring of Fire started to collapsed quickly after fort Liberius fell

1913
By mid 1913, Antares was in the heartland outskirt regions. Due to the large forest bloking Antares path, they decided to use a new plan kbow as the Scorh. Setting large fires to major forests in the way. As a result, the aquilans fought harder to defend any untoched lands. As well as some civilians being massacered due to Civil Guard members using civilian clothing.

1914
By 1914, aquila major cities were starting to fall due to most of the aquilan army having been destroyed. The last major pocket of resistance gathered in the besieged city of Talona. If Talona falls, the rest of Aquila falls as well. After months of siege, Antares began to enter the city, in which the civil guard and the army made their final stand.
Despite their best efforts, the city fell, as well ad Aquila.

The land of ashes, as 40% of the country haven been burned down.
