I think I remember seeing this before, it's still amazing! I adore Figment and this is a wonderful drawing with him holding a little spark of inspiration :)

Aww, that's wonderful! It's truly beautiful that Figment sparked your creativity and passion for drawing. Were you lucky enough to see the original version of Journey Into Imagination with both Figment and Dreamfinder?

I was! I was actually in the YES program when I was a teen and got a behind the scenes look at it. I have a framed photo of Figment with the paintbrush in my office that I took.

Oh wow! Getting to not only see the original ride, but also get a behind the scenes tour of it, is super cool. Plus you got a wonderful picture of Figment! I wish I could have experienced the original ride, but sadly it closed several months before I was even born. By the time I was going to Epcot as a kid, it was "Journey Into Imagination With Figment", but it wasn't until I was a teenager that I first really found out just how much more elaborate, beautiful, and imaginative the original ride was..

Hopefully one day it will get the makeover it truly deserves. Figment has so much meaning and potential to so many people.

I hope for the same thing you do! Figment remains the unquestioned mascot of Epcot for a reason, and it would be wonderful if the ride's original tenets of charm, creativity, and sincerity in its message were restored. Also, it would be very nice to have Dreamfinder back, as he was just as important to the original ride as Figment..
