Description:
Introducing Phodos the Protogen, an unofficial protogen I have created using a base from CrytidCatCreations!
I have modified the base a little bit and created some new line art and adjusted it, however I could not have done anything without the original starting base!
My primary inspirations were a few images I saw on r/protogen I saw an all white proto and had to make something with a similar color palette.
The Orange and Blue if you can guess from the mini backstory below is based off the game Portal! Portal is probably one of the most influential games I have played and probably one of my favorite series! Once I started working with the white and greys I thought of Ossy Flawol's design and had to mix in the swirling orange and blue.
I am not the most creative person, so I am rather proud of how this came out! It was a nice challenge and it honestly took me about 6 weeks on/off to get it to a point where I am happy enough to share it! I have been moving over all my accounts to artwork of them and I guess they represent the gamer in me, or rather what I used to be when I still had time to have fun.
The name comes from photon since they are a bright florescent white and DOS as in "Disk Operating System" similar to how GlaDOS is named
I do plan to adjust the line work some more and maybe add some accents, but this is the working final for this rendition.
Background:
Phodos is an arctic fox that one day made the mistake of wondering a little too close to a non-descript shack in the middle of nowhere of what was once known as Michigan. This fox was then transported inside to eerie laboratory where horrid experiments occur for a new type of testing initiative as it was called. Once inside the lab the fox was experimented on to create as close of a copy of a species seen traversing the stars above.
Before the real tests could begin though the laboratory seemed to have collapsed around them giving them a chance for escape.
