That feel when you're playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and your starters a little bitch
This is a gift for Chance since I named my starter after him lmao- don't really care for the Gen 4 starters so I thought it'd be funny to have Chance for my run of the game. Honestly, kinda not a great gaming experience so far, it feels really dull and flat and while I know that's not a thing in the base game, it just feels really awkward to play for the most part.

Shame about brilliant diamond/shining pearl... I'm a fan of gen 4, and it is a real bummer these are the remakes we got. A faithful recreation to a fault. The art direction is fine to great (I really like a lot of the battle stuff with the backgrounds/trainers), but it's just a prettied up recreation of the game with only baffling changes, like the exp share. None of the QoL improvements previous remakes had in spades.
So, I agree with it being a bit of an awkward feeling game to play.
