gamerlen &  lexington_e_greywinds both have crappy retail-related jobs that they don't like, so I thought I'd draw them in B-Movie style poses in their work uniforms. Since they're both gamers, this evolved into a Left 4 Dead homage (which is a B-Movie homage in itself.. Yay recursion!).

This was the first of a new direction I'm trying to take.. Quick sketches where I don't get bogged down in detail/linework too much, so that I can get a lot of work done and learn more application of anatomy/style/etc in a shorter time. I tend to be very slow and methodical otherwise, which leaves a lot of pieces unfinished. I'm using cheap fineliner pens for this, to limit myself in the amount of pressure & density I can put in each layer (sketch/shapes layer has to stay simple, linework has to be light).

Things that I liked:
The poses came out well.
The anatomy seems to be okay.
The wolf skulls & ears came out nicely.
I *can* draw furries with human hair.

Things I didn't like:
Lol wut r tails?
Purple linework over light (supposedly) green sketch doesn't work.
Lexi's waistband is a little bit too high.
