This is my tribute to the old donald duck comics I used to read at my grandmothers place. We still subscribe to the Donald duck magazine to this day, and its one of my largest comic inspirations. We didn't have the comcis code authority in scandinavia, but I couldnt resist putting it there as a nod to comics history.

Well, I had to work in CMYK mode, to better handle the colors. The colors itself was sampled from a simple color wheel of the basic colors you'd find in print comics. I tried doing a few things to emulate the kind of printing errors you'd find, but it didn't work.
Anyway, the real thing that makes it pop is the texture, which is quite simply, you find a suitable picture of the texture you desire, put it over the image and then play with the blending options, depending on the effect, either "multiply" or "overlay" works wonders, I used "multiply".
