So weird current state in regards to free time, I have more free time as both my job (that is ending this week) and my school studies (ending this week) are winding down and I have a lot of free time.
But I don't have so much free time as to just start cranking out 2 massive comics a week!.. so in the mean time uh, doodles!
And here is a doodle based on a ramble I did on the DS Discord so first that:
Something that has always had to be done to enter the DragonScape is to already be headed to a specific place that existed in the prepulse world that is now in the DragonScape So to enter you have to hit the haze (the border of the reality gap) while already autopiloting to a location! Like how Imua entered the DS! through an autopiloted ship that was already headed into a destination in mind... incidental but SEAC would learn quickly that is the way to do it. But what happens.. if you just sail right into the Haze? That question has evaded me for years but the newer answer is simply, that you get RNG'd ported into any plane of the dragonscape
You could still wake up in some random spot of the Americas... or on the coasts of Logáu, or some other plana! Stranded really... kinda stuck. So for any situation where autopilots on SEAC colonial supply vessels fails well... That crew and their supplies are gonna wash up on some strange alien shore and that's that, they're stuck.
So this drek is one of those colonials who presumably had a failure in their ship that left them beached up on some far off alien plana millions of kilometers away from the Americas. Years have past, maybe decades and the once abundant supplies have been used up or expired and these folks have turned to other simpler technologies to get by as they have had to. With this sling woven of a construction colored plastic being used to hunt! Perhaps they learned it from some far flung éla or american descendant drekir or they may just be the only ones in that plana, or that area of the plana and have had to figure it out themselves.
Regardless not much of a doodle but enjoy! Weird amounts of free time thanks to everything ending, may ramp up the comic production next week whilst I finish out my school and current job and start my job search!

That would be a fun story, some 500 people stranded in some plana with literally noone aside from the local wildlife setting out to try and survive.
I doubt SEAC would ever know as chances are, as far as they could figure out, the ship just disappeared presumably due to an autopilot failure. Probably would get checked off as a very unfortunate loss on logistics and money due to the ship being lost and some outposts in the Americas would have to do without.
