KAAS = DUTCH WORD FOR CHEESE
I kidnapped some orange paper from Belgium.
Of course the most mature thing to do is to draw a random bird on it with red pen and random colourpencils.
Yep.
BIRDYYYYYYYY.
Durp. Avians = birds?

I thought that was just around here too. X3 It would be good to learn, I think. I took French in highschool but the only words I can remember are art supplies. X3 And velo is bicycle.
Haha, well I haven't had that problem, but I took a navigation class in the Caribbean and the weather reports were in Spanish. :P

I remember quite a bit of French.. :u
I had to take it three years.
I had two years of German class too, but I'm so bad at;;
Even though Dutch looks a bit like German.. but I pretty much flunked it.
Lol, I raid the internet too much.
Thanks to that habit, I motivated myself to learn English xD
SO NOW SPANISH IS NEXT.

I was somehow under the impression that I had to take a language, but my learning style just didn't work with the teaching style I suppose. X3;
The internet is a foreign country in it's own right! Good luck, I'll try eventually. Or maybe learn something useless like the language from Watership Down. X3

Too be honest, I learned English in a different way than I learned a bit of French.
I watched sooooo much anime that was subbed, Cartoon Network, other subbed shows... that kind of thing.
Especially the subbed anime helped. I only had the English subs to rely on, after all xP
So I kinda learned English in chunks, while I learned my bits of French immediately grammar-wise and by studying rows of words to broaden my vocabulary.
I think learning in chunks is better, if you get the right grammar stomped in you later c:
I've been able to speak English fluently for quite some years now, but only two years ago or so did I start writing it grammatically correct;;
Also, I had to learn a lot of new words to improve my language, of course .__.

That sounds like a more natural way to learn than in a class room, actually. And I suppose movies that you know all the words to in one language can also help. :3 I'll have to remember that, I always feel embarrassed in international airports. X3 But a girl I graduated with is learning French in France by way of immersion. :3
But I'm always learning new words anyway in English, I think it's a lifetime thing. Also, I listen to a lot of celtic music and some Scottish words are quite baffling. :P

Yeah, more natural. But probably quite difficult too. I don't know.
English is the language with the most words, LOL (according to Dictionary.com). I think it's impossible to know them all. IMPOSSIBLE. Dutch doesn't have that many words. We often find ourselves spamming certain words but are like 'meh' because there are barely any alternatives.
...Though I do know that some English words get spammed frequently too!
