"Dancing with Death" is a figure of speech that means a person, foolishly most of the times, does something so dangerous to be on the verge of passing away. Hector Von Lupin and Caterina Straparola, instead, took said figure of speech quite literally.
In their first encounter, each of them wanting to collect the bounty of their opponent, the two fighters were an evenly match: none of them being able to overpower the other, leaving scars on the vegetation of the Copperwood Forest as testament of their battle.
Disarmed at the same time, and with Caterina risking to fall on the ground after losing balance, Puss in Boots and the Big Bad Wolf ended up in a dance-like position when Hector caught up the hybrid woman.
A macabre dance in the deep of the woods, where each dancer wants to take the life of the other.
