the beauty of this art defies being put into words but I would like to be giddy and ramble regardless >A<
for starters, I love how the folds of the clothes are so wonderfully drawn that you can tell the weight of the cloth! all the daring sharp turns and zigzags that all feel so purposeful! And the very lovely touches of warm hues that meld so nicely with the character's palettes! I also adore the way you shade fur- especially on the cheeks! it's so soft-looking and beautiful, and those sweeping gradients of cream and grey are so gorgeous! The way the dimensions of the character's faces are beautifully shaded yet the markings remain clear and distinct is a very enviable show of skill! I just love it! I also really appreciate your knack for a variety of textures! The cup and tea are gorgeous like a still-life painting, the earring such a perfect glimmering accent, and the background wall plants and wooden windowframes are stellar even when out of focus! Your skills with composition stun me, the mood of this picture is so cozy and inviting, even with the characters out of the main lighting, it's so so so good aaaaghhhh I find myself so inspired by your art, to have such a skill in setting atmospheres in your art like this one! The composition and focus, the color choices, it's all so professional painted yet immensely candid- like peering into a moment in the characters lives! I adore that so much!! I also find myself mesmerized by how you draw hair- the hair texture and flow here is jawdropping! I love Saito's swooshy slicked-back look and the loose tufts curling down, and Swiftt's beautiful cascade of messy gorgeous locks!!!! aaaaaaaa gosh the lineart too! I love how clean and crisp it looks, how the lines are so perfectly placed- I hope to someday have such confident looking linework!!! >A< Honestly, everything about this picture is amazing, you did such an awesome job bringing these characters to life and I am so very very fortunate to have been able to get this ych because it's one of the most wonderful artworks I have received and makes me smile and feel soothed every time I look at it !
