The Neo Hedoron (Neohedoron) was the 8th Kaiju created by Dr. Gori and was Featured in the Episodes 13 and 14 of the Spectreman TV series: Hedoron Strikes Back Pts. 1 and 2.

_Appearance and Abilities_
The Monster was an improvement of the original Hedoron that first attacked when Gori arrived, and was made with Pollutant Sludge, but resemble a mushroom with legs and tentacles, but the added bonus of absorbing humans to grow in intelligence. Surrounding the edges of its top it sport tentacles to constrict its enemies with, as well spread a highly toxic hydrogen sulfide mist from these. Neo Hedoron was able to spawn smaller versions of itself. It roar was that of an elephant, with chirp like screech into its sound.

_History_
Gori unleashed the creature in Sludge Form in the polluted waters of Tokyo Bay, attacking a man, but understood that despite its talents, the Neo Hedoron lack intelligence to be capable to make a stand against Spectreman; so he had the creature target a Scientist (Dr. Ogaki) who was looking at the situation of the Bay along with the Pollution Team, when they nearly got poison by the hydrogen sulfide coming from the water.

A bit later, as Ogaki phones the team about his results, he comes under attack by the Neo Hedoron dripping into his lab via the faucet, unleashing its toxic fumes onto him and assimilating with the Doctor; worry after hearing his screams on the phone and then been cut off, Kurata, George and John run to the lab to find his assistant (Renata?) knocking on the door without any response, but Ogaki comes out as nothing happened – he then request the help of his assistant and John, while George notices the stain on his shoe, causing suspicion. Soon after, he is warned by Overlord and Transforms, as Dr. Ogaki shows his true self to John and Renalta and transforms into the improve New Hedoron and tries to attack and consume the two of them, but are able to escape the lab when it accidentally gets electrocutes; Spectreman arrives though finds the lab deserted and in ruins.

In that moment the Building shakes and the Neo Hedoron breaks free of the building, burying John and Renata with nothing but a radio, as Spectreman faces the Monster, been overpower by its powerful toxic mist and its intelligence. Spectreman cuts free with the Spectre Cutters, then stunts it with Shuriken like Nebula Slice weapons; finally he uses Spectre Thunder on it, stunning it, but the last attack drains Spectreman, falling to the ground reverting to his small size, though the Monster stands up and continues its rampage, pinning John under a support beam, as the rest of the Pollution Team tries to contact them via radio while Police clears the area for the Armed Forces.

A weaken Spectreman wakes up trying to think of a solution to defeat the monster when comes under attack by a Human Size Neo Hedoron, but in his weaken state, he is overpower, tossed and revert back to his Human Form. To make matters worst, there is a 20 minute countdown for the bombardment to come in, Arthur and Otto run into the building to find John and Renata as the basement begins to flood, but the chaos cause by the Kaiju, releases John just as the water breaks. Elsewhere, a weaken and crestfallen George plays with a piano (I dunno, work with me here!) to find the correct spirit chord that would reactivate his receivers (I again, I dunno, work with me here!) and it works. He recovers.

This is like the most pointless part of the whole Episode, and I think they must've know it because I don't recall him doing this is again.

Arthur and Otto locate John and Renata and help them escape as the JSDAF begins its attack, but this (OH MY WORD!) have no effect on it and smacks the planed down, then Neo Hedoron proceeds to attack the city's infrastructure proper. With is success almost achieve, Gori covers the city in a Smog the blocks Overlord from contacting Spectreman; To make matters worst, the JSDAF attack ignites an Oil Fire that corners Arthur and the others an forces them to come out the sewer, as George drives by trying to distract the Monster, but in his mad dash, George crashes. He escapes and comes to see the High Tension wired fend off the monster for a time, then meets up with the rest of his team mates and then is taken on an ambulance, but sneaks away and hijacks a motorcycle.

George drives to the airport as the Monster attacks it, takes a small plane, taking off and flying above the cloud cover; he jumps from the plane when Overlord contacts him with a plan and transforms to Spectreman for Round 2, much to the ire of Dr. Gori. Spectreman proceeds to beat the monster as it tries to strangle him, but he fends off the monster attacks by using the Nebula Slices once more and then Spectre Thunder, but again weakens him, allowing Neo Hedoron to fall on top of him, however this was part of Overlord's plan as it fries the beast by electrocuting it when charging Spectreman.

For some odd reason, despite having lost, Gori laughs claiming he has won (I take this is misstep of the dubbed) as George surprises the others as the the Ambulance carrying him was destroyed in the attack, then goes with Renata to visit John in the hospital.
