More old convention goodies! But this isn't so much one that's been stored away that I happened to rediscover while cleaning as it is one that's been sitting on my shelf this whole time, and only got around to taking photos a week prior to this particular upload.
No, your eyes do not deceive you... this is indeed a 3D-printed bust shot of my dragon Melee! I had a unique opportunity back at the 2018 Itty Bitty Fur Con when I saw this particular individual accepting commission work for such things. I think the artist did a fine job, especially when you consider that the most I had on hand for ref material were just a few headshots from an old ref sheet that was starting to show its age even at the time of making this commission.
...He looks so uneasy, doesn't he? Yeah, that was a thing I was trying to establish with Melee at the before I started shifting focus into his Squire design, which behaves a bit differently. Maybe I should consider getting art of Melee during his younger years again, so I better develop his character? It's something to think about.
