Nahhh. That lighting looks a lot brighter than it really is, its pretty subtle actually. Its just enough to give some nice back light behind the monitors, which is suppose to help reduce eye strain actually.

I got a pair of these http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/p.....ducts/40152591 and just some creative wood working. I have a vertical fencepost pole with a flat base. Its all stained and nice. I did it with my step dad who is really good with wood working. Was kind of a bonding thing I figured we both could use XD

Yeah, that is pretty nice. Color changing LEDs seem a little unnecessary to me, though.

Oh they are XD Well they arent in the sense that they do backlight all my screens and so give less eyes strain. Ive been sitting on these lights for a while wondering what the hell to do with them. I think this is a worthy enough cause XD

Yea, Im honestly not sure Ill ever get around to actually putting any of my amp plans to board. Too much time in photography now, and other people are more than content to design very good amps. I used to see headphone amps as quite expensive, but now they dont seem nearly so bad. The incentive isnt there to design anymore XD I realized quickly that engineering is kinda boring for me =X I like the extreme theoretical, I like seeing the potential for technology or innovation, I dont really like the middle engineering steps =X Id rather run the whole show and let someone else do the engineering "grunt" work.

...even though Im an electrical engineer XD Im steering my development toward management/leadership/executive type stuff. Its ok, thats why I chose an EE degree, its good for more than just engineering and if I fail at all my endeavors the rest of my life, at least I can fall back on this and still earn a very good paycheck =)
