I guess I neglected to put up pictures and this little guys story last week when he arrived.

This is Jesse James (aka JJ). His previous owners ran him over, breaking his leg near the hip very badly. He needed surgery to repair it, and since his owners could not afford it, they signed him over to the vet clinic where I work.

We got him fixed up (including being neutered and getting his first puppy vaccination), and I took him home to my parents...and like I knew would happen--since they have four dashchunds already--they fell in love.

JJ is a chihuahua/dashchund mix, and he's about nine/ten weeks old now. He has a stable, loving, SAFE home for the rest of his life with my parents.
