I disagree with you, my character has a unique design and is only based on the Digimon series.
By your logic then the Palworld game can't sell.
Plus after looking through furaffinity I saw a huge amount of adopts from both the pokemon and digimon universes that are easily sellable :3

"Other people are doing it" isn't an argument. And Palworld doesn't feature straight rips, like a blue Pikachu, and you can't copyright game mechanics, only its design elements. Nintendo's lawyers are seething at it. On the flipside, they did Cease & Desist several fan games and expansions, because they use Pokémon assets.
