- You wouldn't download a brain hemorrhage, would you?
- That's what I'm good at.
Moments into the run, his state-of-the-art deck's contingency systems already going haywire in attempts warn the user of what's about to happen.
He has rigged his perception link with a little semi-automatic subroutine that supposed to intervene into the neurovisual feed with distractive messages in such cases.

But is it of use if your consciousness and hardware are about to be overridden by an entity, complexity of which you have severely underestimated and tried to hijack, and your rig's juice is about to run out?
It's only a matter of seconds to break the fiber cables and trodes before you flatline.

Idea, obviously, was massively inspired by "Neuromancer" by William Gibson that I've read recently, plus several visual influences from Cyberpunk 2077, System Shock, Deus Ex and such, add helmet design based on a cyberdeck design I've found online for good measure.
Only a shame that work was about 95% done when I decided to watch "Johnny Mnemonic" - to realize how close this whole representation came out eventually.
Gorgeously drawn by
~RIZONIK~ with a couple of FX touches by me.
Thank you!
