The little I've seen of it seems unrealistic. Texas and California on the same side in that scenario seems very unlikely.

i really hope you will be right.... i live in a country where the impossible things happened again and again ( 8 presidents in 10 days? DONE! 2001-2002 crisis , People trying to assualt the congress because they didn´t liked the resulñts of an election? DONE TOO, Populist leader that brocke the laws lots of times but have lot of money and got contacts in the justice and of course politics to stay free, DONE lot of times, just for name a few) , and USA is getting more and more closer to us every year, but adding an incredibly more violent component (we don´t shoot people in schools, or concerts, or like that, basically almost every week, infact happened just 2 times) and very literally several millons more of weapons by person than here...

Mm. The US is a pretty dangerous place; when I visited, I ended up being mugged. Luckily wasn't worse.

Argentina isn´t a super safe place (depite lot of people in south and central america says yes, but is because in their case is lot, l o t worse) but in my almost 45 years old was tryed to be robbed just 3 times...by the worst thieves of the country, probably XD they failed the 3 times and i am not exactly Marcos in fighting skills XD
of course i neighter carry 18 weapons with me as a Texan neighter XD

But in places as La Matanza (perfect name... "the killing"), Rosario or, very close to me, Trelew, the thieves are extremly violent and ilogical lot of times. first i shoot you 3 times, and then MAYBE will see what can stole from you....

That's dumb. I think Australia is a lot safer than that, but we recently had a crazy guy stab a lot of people in a shopping centre, then the following day an angry Muslim youth stabbed an Abyssian Orthodox priest, so I dunno. Some people are just...yeah.

Oh I didn't realise it made international news. The guy was mentally unwell, off his medication, and apparently hated women, which is why most of the victims are women. Its sort of fitting his rampage was ended by a female police officer (I'm sure Dora would be proud).

And yeah, same. Being far away from all the big stuff can be quietly comforting. ^_^;

Always nice to enjoy a movie when it relates to your work/career/hobby. Working in Hospitality I was very drawn to 'The Menu' last year.
