SnowQueen_TigerClaw as a musician. (and one of my favorite cards in the deck I've done... I love her hair). I was given the note to make her a musician... and strangely at that moment I was like "YES what is rare and sexy... what else other than a Hurdy Gurdy... lol". Hurdy Gurdies are old instruments so because of it's rarity in present day... I figured she totally had to have one.
The Deck Project is wrapping up! Aiming to print in early May, preorder yours today! Just $25, which includes shipping within the U.S. ($3.50 add'l for international). To pre-order note and paypal

OMG... what is a nyckelharpa???!! I most look this up!!!!
*googling.... goo... goog... googling*
Oh my word... that's AMAZING!!!!!! I think I found my new instrument obsession!!!
That's soooo awesome that you can play the sitar and harp!!! I think it's really interesting when people play older style instruments. They just have so much character and the instruments have their own unique sounds that you can't get in modern instruments.

I would say it has little to do with what is modern and what is old and more to do with what is mainstream and made to be popular and what is rare and less heard. many modern instruments have quite a bit charm to them like the theremin which is even newer than the harp. Also, some of the greatest sounds can be produced electronically. While I understand where you are coming from and definitely have my a large place in my heart for the well aged instruments. The harp I play now has nylon strings but elder harps have copper strings and sound like bells. They are fantastic...AND COMING BACK INTO VOGUE!!!! ~joygasm!!~
You are awesome by the way :)
