WHAT IS A YCH?
A Your Character Here is a commission genre where an artist draws a generic figure (usually either a humanoid, furry, or feral animal) on a completed background (usually the background is already fully colored and shaded). The figure is posed, sometimes interacting with the background, or a prop. And buyers pay the artist to draw their OC in place of the generic figure. The artist may offer to do a YCH for a set price, auction them, or do them for free. The artist will tell you the limitations (i.e. if you see a YCH with a furry figure and it says "dogs only," this means the artist only wants to draw a dog furry in this YCH.
