Two dragons stood up to the might of an unjust, oppressive regime with nothing grounding them but each other.
Aenith, on the left, was prophesized to bring an end to not only Elysium, but the world. Narrowly escaping death before he even hatched and with his mother slaughtered for her treachery, he turned his ire (and fire) to the empire that despised him.
Eradinus, on the right, was one of the last of their culture, the Starscales, to undergo a challenging, life-changing pilgrimage to become connected to the stars. After carving their essence and replacing it with starlight, their desire for a better world and an ideal future is what guides their and Aenith's crusade against Elysium
These characters are two of the primary NPCs of my tabletop game, Remnants of the Eye, and they're also co-protagonists of a future novel! They broke apart from each other at the climax of their story, keeping distant for hundreds of years until RotE brought them back together. I thought I'd commemorate their reunion in game with a lovely pic by
