if I have one general critique, it would be that your story is too long.
it feels like you are treading wather at times with things moving too slowly.
my personal preference would be if there was a series of short stories of different people turning into different animal in different situations.
the buck short story and the prequel were going in that direction and I liked those the most.

I take no offense!
I totally understand things can feel slow, in this one I intended some parts to feel slightly off, but other parts suffered at times.
I plan on doing more shorter content very soon. I appreciate your feedback and hope I can improve on that in the future!
