I'm sorry, but she was acting entirely too cute tonight. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce Peep-peep, aka as the Mean Peep, the Evil Peep and Peep the Conqueror. Nine pounds of feisty.
That's her blanket, by the way, but I'm allowed to use it sometimes.

Okay. Once more. I'll figure this out eventually http://www.MyCatHatesYou.com. click on Cats
I'll do that. And if you want to see another evil looking cat, check this out: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2181031/
That reminds me of something. If you haven't seen it already here's the link to a schizoid cat.

I haven't seen this one, but I do know of the "Cheezeburger" people and the new language they seem to have invented to describe cats. This one is hilarious! I have been owned by cats for thirty-eight years and I have never had one kick itself in the head. Peep will growl and snarl at anything, bite anyone --including me, but I have never seen her attack herself.
Oh, we are sharing funny cat videos now?

Just to let you know... if you want to reply to a specific message in a submission, click on the tab marked "Reply to Post" on the far right. "Add Reply" just posts to the parent submission and the person you're talking to might not get your message.
Yeah, I know. There are a lot of odd bits in here. Shouts, Replies, Posts and Notes. You get used to them.

Just click your screen name for "shouts". If you want to post a journal, click on "Journal" under your screen name on top. If you want to review/edit journals you've already written, click on "journals" on your user-banner on your userpage. (Why they're in two different places, I have no idea.) If you want to "note" someone --that is, leave them a personal message that is not for public consumption-- click their avatar, then click "send a note" on their user-banner. All other messages in this place are up for public scrutiny --just so's you know.

Not true. There are all degrees of skill here, from beginner to professional. And all media, from traditional (me) to cyber (just about everyone else). And people post ALL kinds of stuff, from art, stories and music to toys they want to sell, food they've prepared, moods they happen to be in and places they've been. Journals are for anything you want to say from "Hi!" to "These politics stink!" There are some guidelines about what and how, but mostly it's whatever you want. Not too shabby, really.
It's a furry meeting-site, really. And while it is heavy into the visual arts, there are also writers, photogs, musicians, poets, foodies and people who just like to talk. And you can talk about anything you want. There are groups and cliques. There is the MLP group, the Elder Furs (me), Pokemon group, cat people, horse people, dog people. BDSM, Vore, Inflation and just about every sexual fetish know to man. Try a search on what interests you. You'll probably get visual media first, but if you chase the link back to the artist's/author's userpage, you'll find journals and other links.
You can shout or note anyone you want to talk to personally, although the shouts are designed to be short.

Whoa, there's so much to do on here. Thank you, I'll look up some groups.
Maybe I can find some more friends. The Elder Furs? How old are you, if you don't mind me asking. Also,
I'm having a problem uploading an avatar. I made a gif and I shrunk it as far as it would let me but it's 1.1 Kb too high.
Any suggestion on how to make it even smaller?

58, hun. I got forty years on ya. Don't hold it against me. We ain't all old crocks. Unfortunately, I am computer-stupid and can't tell you how to further reduce your avatar. There is this fellah who hangs around my site. His name is Calbeck and his avatar is a blond-haired unicorn. He seems to know a lot. Ask him. Maybe he can help you more.
Wow. Lol your not an old crock XD When you hit like, 80 then you can call yourself that. But nevertheless, you're awesome! Now I feel better about getting older and still being a furry. My dad doesn't approve of it whatsoever.Which makes it harder to talk to him because he looks at me different now, (ever since I told him). But it's okay now, knowing there are other people that are older than me that are furriers. I admire you really ._. I've always been such a wuss. Lol hiding in my room and whatnot.
And thankyou, I'll ask him about it ^.^ It's okay not being computer smart. I'm not so good at it either.

Your dad probably doesn't understand what a furry is. I mean, it's not like you told him you're an ax murderer. Granted there are some odd and occasionally unsavory things about furry fandom. There is a lot of --let's face it-- porn on this site. People, especially parents, are spooked by that. There are a lot of odd sexual fetishes here, including diaper-duty and borderline beastiality. That upsets parents, too. What they don't know is that MOST of the people here are completely normal. They kvetch about taxes, the government, job problems and personal quirks. They do not ask young people to meet them in out of the way places or send them pictures of themselves in their underwear --like that dumb-ass politician did.
The problem is, furries are strange to most people. They don't understand it, so it scares them. They don't know it's mostly harmless and that there are varying degrees of it. Not everyone wants to spend 2000 dollars on an elaborate fur-suit. I have better things to do with my money and it's too damn hot anyway. Not everyone is obsessed with porn. There are even those of us who do not see it as a "life style". I'm an artist who draws furry-oriented pictures and comics. I don't see myself as a cat. Just an owner of cats. I have a regular job, a regular life and regular problems. Not of this has changed because I joined this site.
And I am among the oldest of the Elder Furs, not in age, but in chronology. I was there at the birth of the fandom. Only one of about six who are the wellspring from which it started and, as far as I know, the only female.
As for the weirder sex-stuff... Most of us ignore it. As we ignore most of the arguments, memes and name-calling.
Basically think of this site as facebook with illustrations.

Yeah I know about all that "Yiff" Stuff. Furries on Imvu showed me some of that. And I know it scares him because he said only a bunch of freaks would go around like that, it's not normal. You were there for the birth of the fandom?? WOW. What was it like? I know you'd have a normal life, it's not like you run around screaming I'M A FURRY! Lol.
Liking things just happen. :]

I'm not a furry, per se. I'm an artist who draws furry things. This is why I go under my own name here. I'm not trying to be someone I am not. The avatar... That's just sort of expected.
As for your dad, you might ask him some time what scares him so bad about guys in fur-suits. It's the stuff you can't see that usually hurts you. As "freaks" go, furries are pretty harmless. But this does not mean you can trust all of them. Before going anywhere with anyone, check them out first.
"Yiff" is a specific term. It refers to those who have sex --sometimes group sex-- in fur-suits. It can also sort of refer to those who do it with plush toys. That's right. Plush toys. Before you buy a stuffed toy from somebody, check to see if it has openings it wouldn't normally have. If it does, I'd leave it lay. Really.
This fandom grew out of the comic industry back in the mid-eighties. At that time, it was referred to as "funny animal" fandom. When they started calling it "furry", I don't know, but it was probably shortly thereafter. Dedicated "furry" cons started out on the west coast and slowly moved east, so now they have such cons all over.. The largest --in the east anyway-- is Anthrocon, which is held in Pittsburgh in late June. It is very much like any sci-fi convention in that it has an artshow, a dealers room, convention programing including lectures, game-playing and a costume contest and all the usual accountrement of such things. The way it differs in that it has a separate artshow for "mature" material and they take the costume on parade through the dealer's room so that the dealers can see it. If you want to know about it, you can contact Anthrocon 2012, to see what they have say.
Now a question for you: What is Imvu?

Oh I see. So you're just a furry artist who know everything about furries. That's cool. You know, I have tried to ask him what is it about fursuits that scare him, but he just wont tell me. Maybe it's a phobia of his. Honestly, I don't know. Really? People have sex with plush toys? Uh, maybe I wont buy plushies from furbuy anymore XD Now that you told me that. Furries came out from a comic industry? I never would have seen that one coming. Yeah I know about Anthrocon, I was going to go once, but it's rather expensive. :(
Oh, IMVU is a 3d virtual world chat site. It has all types of stereotypes, alot like high school really. . . But you buy your clothes and items using a prepaid IMVU card you can Buy at Rite Aid, Shoprite, Target, Walmart and blockbuster. Those cards just transfer over into virtual currency so you can modify your Avatar. They have all sorts of thing on there, Furry rooms, Gangster, Emo, Scene,Rave, ect. You can dance, play instruments and all kinds of strange things. There is and Adult side to IMVU. Adults can buy something called AP or Access Pass( for users over 18). Basically, that's for being naked and junk. Lol. But otherwise, IMVU is pretty cool. I meet alot of furries and friends on there everyday.

Okay, so this is a gaming/facebook/meeting-room sort of site, with fashion accessories Not my thing really, but cool enough. It's too bad about your dad. It is funny when parents can't articulate their feelings and think that "do as I say" is sufficient reason to alter your behavior.. "Why" is a legitimate question and should be asked, although nose-to-nose confrontations aren't usually constructive. Usually parents are afraid that you will be hurt, or that you will be drawn into an unproductive lifestyle where you will spend your time and money on things that will not advance your life. Granted, there are furries with problems, but everybody has problems. It's not exclusive to a furry life-style.
Yeah, there are furries who use plushies as --how shall I say?-- recreational aids. This may be one reason your father freaks out. But, like I said, most of us ignore it. There are also twenty and thirty-something guys who are completely dedicated to My Little Pony. Go figure.

I forgot that Pokemon existed.
Yeah, and he never acted this way until I told him about the furry fandom.
Talking to him is like talking to a brick wall. He wont hear it. My mom and my grandma like furries alot,
so I have no clue what his problem is.
Also, I have a question, do you do art commissions?
