So some of my fangirling with my Dhampir Vincent. He was friends with Remus and Severus, Remus found out about his vampire thing and showed him the shrieking shack to hide if he'd missed his potion which happened twice, he was also helpful in that if Vincent had missed his potion Remus would let him bite him because a werewolf is unaffected by the vampire curse.
Severus and Vincent were friends almost from when they met, they share a dorm as well. Vincent tended to act like a brother and look out for Severus, including defending him from the Marauders, Severus found out about his condition in their 5th year when, in a heated argument with James Potter, James used a Lumos Solem spell with the intention of temporarily blinding Vincent to get the first hit but instead severely injured him due to his weakness to the sun.
This however is Vincent having missed his potion and nearly biting Severus before Remus stepped in to help Vincent and tell Severus to run his dumbass out.
