With this, I’ve reached the end of my older art showcase! Here we have the Great Prince of the forest, from Disneys Bambi! He’s another of my comfort characters, and while I used to write little fanfics of him, drawing him is actually pretty hard for me! Drawing any of the deer from Bambi has always been exceptionally hard and has taken me ages. This is actually a reworking of some old lineart from 2013, which is why I dated the drawing the way I did. I won’t post the original here, it bothers me and I don’t like it. I like this reworked version, however, I’m honestly still proud of it! Bambi 2 is also one of the few Disney sequels I’m kinda fond of, I have a lot of sentimental value with it. So I definitely had it in mind while doing this drawing, the background is also altered from that film. Hope you’ve enjoyed going back through these older works of mine! I may eventually dig up a few more, but this is it for now!

Random fun fact, because of your title: apparently, after Bambi's release, whenever Walt came into the studio upset about something, the animators would warn each other the boss was cross by saying: "Man has returned to the forest," or "Man is in the forest."
I wonder if any of them hummed that incredibly freaking scary music that accompanies Man in the movie when they did. 'XD
