This is a combination of photo manipulation and regular digital art, to the point where its hard to tell where onebegins and the other one ends. Full disclosure here, the guitar is swiped from a stock photo (I am sorrry, I hate drawing guitars), then repainted, filtered and repainted again, the background is a filtered photo, taken by my mum during her trip to new york, so credit goes to her for that one, Melody herself is mostly digital painting, but with heavy photo ref for the details in her pants (I originally started this image as an excuse to look at butts all day...)
