Hori The Horrid, or simply Hori, is the ruler of the kingdom of his namesake, and the main antagonist of Dobutsu. Once a servent of the Cat King, Hori learned of dark magic. He then tried to use that dark magic to try and over throw the Cat Kingdom, only to fail and be tried with treason. Managing to escape from prison, Hori fleed to a remote part of the Animal Kingdom. Years later, he would build up his own kingdom with other kingdoms that have been exciled from their respected kingdoms. His ultimate plan is to take control of the Animal Kingdom and become its emperor. Though evil, Hori comes off more of a trickster than a malicious being. However, is quite callious and vile, taking pleasure in causing mayhem if he so feels the need.
